Description

SEGA Superstars Tennis features classic SEGA characters - including Sonic the Hedgehog and Ulala from Space Channel 5 - plus some of the most unusual courts and outrageous settings ever imagined in a rousing match of tennis. Developed by Sumo Digital (the team behind the enjoyable Virtua Tennis 3), this title features a toal of 15 playable characters (and a host of SEGA icons cheering on from courtside), each with their own over-the-top tennis skills. Courts are SEGA-themed too, with Green Hill Zone and Samba de Amigo's Carnival Park.

very good game

Strengths: a lot of fun.

Weakness: a medocre tennis game

The tennis is merely average, but the challenges and minigames in Sega Superstars Tennis are creatively done. This game is really fun with all its mini games and other features also playing multiplayer is really fun.

Tennis with Sega world

Strengths: Nice characters from Sega world

Weakness: Wii controls dont work great

This is a nice tennis games packaged with some of the popular & not so popular characters from Sega world. Besides characters, there are various locations picked up from Sega games. Every character has their own special abilities & you can unlock new characters. There are a bunch of mini games which are good party fun but gets old fast One disappointing bit about the Wii version is the controls...

review for Superstars Tennis (Wii).

Strengths: Better than wii sports

Weakness: None

I am a super computer game fan, but that doesn't mean I don't try other games. I bougth a wii bundle system at home recently, I enjoyed the wii sports especially, especially the tennis. I want to try some different tennis except from wii, so I made this purchase. This game almost include every characters in Sega game.It can be played in multiple modes, most of them are pretty similar to any other...

Sega Superstars Tennis

Strengths: Fun game for awhile. That's about it, not much to add.

Weakness: Gets boring very quick. Lousy Wii-mote responsiveness.

If you are a fan of Sonic & other classic sega characters, you may enjoy this game. For me, the novelty wore off very quick- it's much easier & more fun to play the Wii Sports tennis game than this one. Other than the sega characters a few special courts & different graphics & backgrounds, this is pretty much just Wii Sports tennis with lousy controls. I'd avoid this game unless you are really...

Sega Superstars Tennis

Strengths: Characters, courts, and music based on classic Sega games. More than 100 different challenges.

Weakness: Controls are not as responsive as Wii Sports and no online play.

The characters, levels, music, and even some of the gameplay from these classic franchises are put to good use in superstars mode. Many of these challenges are really fun, and some of them are especially creative. Superstars mode is so much fun, given that the actual tennis in Sega Superstars Tennis is merely average. The simple controls mean that it's easy to pick up and play. If you want a...

Sega can do better

Strengths: Easy to pick up and play. Decent graphics for a Wii game. Use of Sega Characters and stages

Weakness: Controls are aren't as responsive as Wii Sports. Limited Game modes. No online play!

This game was supposed to be a mix between Virtua Tennis and an arcade like experience... It was neither one of those. The controls seem to have a delay in them when swinging the remote that can really throw off the timing. This isn't anywhere near the quality of Wii Sports Tennis. For 49.99, the game simply isn't worth it by any means. There are few game options and no online play kills this. If...

Not bad, but not great

Strengths: Character recognition, Graphics, Just plain fun

Weakness: Controls, Difficulty

I got this for my kids to play. They love playing the Wii Sports Tennis, and I thought this would be a great addition. They really enjoyed the game, but it frustrated them a little because of the controls. The Wii Sports Tennis is a little better at the response of the remote. Probably because of this, it's a little more difficult. Over all, a fun game.
