The GameCube is not known for its fighting games. The controller isn't exactly conducive to a six-button arcade layout and the target market does tend to skew a little on the young side. As a result, it is no surprise then that Paradox passed the GameCube development duties onto EXAKT -- after all, Paradox wanted to focus on the Xbox and PS2 versions of X-Men: Next Dimension. Strengths: X-Men goodnessm, cool levels
Weakness: Buggy levels, difficult controls
I picked up this game for two reasons: It was cheap and it had X-Men on the cover. I played around with it for a while, and it is neat to fool with. Watching your favorite characters do their thing is neat. However the first time I got stuck on the 'wrong' side of a wall in Professor X's mansion I knew this game was going on my shelf, to be pulled down when I wanted a break from Soul Calibur II....
