Pokemon Fire RedStrengths: Updated Pokemon roster from original Pokemon Red game, improved graphical quality, high replay value, extra side quests, Wireless Adapter packed in, backwards compatability w/ Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire. Weakness: Battle Gameplay is un-improved from previous releases, story-line old and unchanged, dialog in the game gets stale. Pokemon FireRed version is a great game. One of the main draws with this RPG (role-playing game) is it's high level of replay value. Basically, the way the game is set up means that you can log over 100 hours into playing it and still there are numorus pokemon to catch and raise. Also, the link-up features allow for you to compeate in Pokemon Battles with your friends via a link cable or a...

Pokemon Fire RedStrengths: Nice remake of the original, includes lots of the newer Pokemon Weakness: Can be a boring task raise so many little dudes I have only played the original Pokemon games way back when it was still on the original Gameboy and I picked this up as a way to refresh my good memories. It was a great experience to play it all over again, with nicer graphics and more Pokemon to choose from. All the extra areas were cool too. The only thing with Pokemon is if you don't have a lot of people to play with, you'll put it down...

A Remake with MoreStrengths: All the features of the original Pokemon games, plenty of replay value, extra content. Weakness: The main part of the game will be very familiar to anyone who played a lot of the original Pokemon Red Pokemon Fire Red is an updated version of Pokemon Red for the original Game Boy. Fire Red has a completely overhauled graphic look, adding full color, new music, and other enhancements for the GBA. The core gameplay is the same as original, but the addition of seven new areas, some new Pokemon, and a Battle Tower make this game a worthwhile purchase for series fans, and a great way for new...

Pokemon Fire RedStrengths: Good single play story mode, battling/trading with friends Weakness: Same pokemon style game, sound This is a great pokemon game because it is a remake of the original Red and Blue games for the original Game Boy. It uses the original 151 pokemon. These are the pokemon that people like me know from when Pokemon first came out, sometimes it's hard keeping track of all the new Pokemon. This game is great, long single player mode, and you can battle or trade pokemon with your friends.

Return of a ClassicStrengths: Lots of extra content. Excellent game design that still works. Weakness: Lots of random battles. Pokemon FireRed is an excellent remake of the Game Boy Color classic. As before, there are lots of Pokemon to catch, and the journey to the top is fun. In addition, a whole new chain of islands is added after you beat the game, which adds substantially to the length of the adventure. If you like collectible monster RPGs, this is an excellent game for you. If you don't like random battles and...

Pokemon Fire RedStrengths: Much longer level play, Very fun, Very good graphics Weakness: Higher priced compared to other pokemon games (excluding leaf green) I can't seem to put this game down. It is very intense game play. In the Fire Red version you can catch Ho-Oh, Lugia and Dexoys, but you can't catch every pokemon on your old pokedex. It's also hard to get to island 9 because you have to do something difficult that I haven't been able to figure out yet. My overall opinion of the Fire Red version for Gameboy Advance is very favorable and I would...

Pokemon Fire RedStrengths: Tons of pokemon to collect, trade and train. Remake of original Weakness: none This is a great remake of the original pokemon red. There are tons of pokemon to collect, trade and train. The wireless adapter that comes with it really is a huge advantage over the wired option. All the original pokemon are here. Overall a great game.

Pokemon FireRed
I have never played a Pokemon game. Phew! That wasn't so hard, confession is good for the soul! Seriously, while I haven't played any of the previous Pokemon releases, I have experienced Pokemon mania vicariously through my children and other young friends and relatives over the years, and have always wondered just what it was about the series that made the games so popular and addictive. Knowing... Top

BECOME VICTORIOUS IN THE WORLD OF POKEMON!!!
Strengths: comes with wireless adapter, hours of fun,a fantastic adventure, and raising your own pokemon
Weakness: if you want to catch all of the pokemon then you need to get pokemon leaf green
I love this game because there is so much adventure in the world of pokemon. Solving mysteries, catching rare pokemon, winning battles, and being champion is only the beginning of all the pokemon games. Become the best trainer ever and win over the elite four. Be victorious in the world of pokemon!!!
