Description: Oni tells the story of Konoko, an elite cop and one-woman SWAT team with a take-no-prisoners approach to fighting crime. The plot and look of this American-developed game are Japanese anime-inspired, most obviously by Ghost in the Shell. Oni?s gameplay is a hybrid of adventure, platform, and fighting games, with the emphasis on running and beating up opponents in martial-arts style fighting action. Combat is generally fought from a third person behind-the-back perspective, and often involves multiple opponents simultaneously. Fighting moves can be chained together fluidly, helped by interpolation in the character animations that allow Konoko to jump, somersault, punch and kick all in one quick motion. Konoko can also use a variety of weapons, including guns (her own or those she?s taken from her enemies) and concussion grenades, which can be used to detonate a room full of baddies. Minimize
