Zendoku follows the basic rules of Sudoku, and gamers must fill in all the blank squares with symbols so that each row and column contains each token with none repeated. Zendoku offers single-players four modes of play. In Quest mode, gamers must select from a variety of playable characters and work through each puzzle in that avatar's story line. Players select from five difficulty levels ranging from easy to master and then must beat the clock in Zen mode. Attack Box is a training ground of sorts that allows gamers to learn and practice the different attacks used in the multiplayer modes. Players who want traditional Sudoku action may test their skills in Classic mode, and by accessing a wireless connection gamers can play with friends in competitive or cooperative multiplayer activities.
