Final Fantasy IX

Strengths: I really enjoyed the graphics.. The music was so amazing I had to go and find the MP3's of it to play on my site. And what can I say? Zadine's a cutie! I'd gladly stay in the Alexandria mode forever.

Weakness: I got stuck very easily.. Before disk 2.somewhere after the crash when those rose looking monsters killed ya. Repeatidly. I swear, I can NEVER get past that point in the game, no matter how hard I try

I ADORE this game! The combination of the graphics, the sounds, the story.. Very entertaining, even for the smallest of attention spans. You'll want to sketch it if you're an artist, you'll want to write fanfiction about it if you're a writer, and you'll want to keep playing it over and over if you're a game freak. In my book, it's in the same leagues as Legend of Mana!

Final Fantasy IX

Strengths: Very interesting story line, great characters and game-play, loaded with side-quests and mini-games. Need I say more?

Weakness: Unbeliveably long cinemas, plus it can get you so worked up you feel like smashing your controller.

When I heard about FFIX, I got to the point where I couldn't wait any longer for it. I imedietly went to the nearest Blockbuster to rent it. When I powered it up, I couldn't believe my eyes. Incredibly steller graphics and gameplay inside and out. On the plus side, there were absolutely no load times. It was everything I liked in a game (minus the no shooting part). I definetly recomend this game.

Final Fantasy IX

Is there RPG life beyond this, though? Perhaps it's a consequence of how quickly it's followed on the heels of Final Fantasy VIII , but while the nostalgic appeal of Final Fantasy IX is undeniable, it's mirrored by a less pleasant sort of déjà vu. How much of this is truly new, and how much of it is merely time-tested, as it were? A question to while away the hours with, I suppose. New or old,...
