What were the Japanese thinking?!

Strengths: Many random, odd mini-games, great for large gatherings

Weakness: Gets boring, can be frustrating

The mini-games were fun. My favorite is Pyoro S. In Single Player, the only objective in large gatherings is to see who gets the highest score. This can be fun but can also get boring very fast. In Multiplayer, I wish they had a few more games (like 10). Darts, Star Nose and Bungee Jump were probably the only 'unique' games while the others had the same objective: Get the forms right or else you...

Wii welcomes wacky Wario

Strengths: Vivid, zany art style; fantastic sound effects and music; deep use of the Wii remote in 200 minigames

Weakness: Single-player campaign is very short; games get repetitive

"WarioWare: Smooth Moves" looks like a wacky hybrid of "Rayman Raving Rabbids" and "Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door," and establishes itself as the strangest game yet on Nintendo's quirky Wii console. At the outset, gamers are treated to a beautiful-looking, two-dimensional story that has Wario stumble into a temple and find an ancient "form baton," which looks suspiciously like a Wii remote....

Hilarious! Best Mini Game Set So Far!

Strengths: Hilarious style all its own! Great mini games!

Weakness: Can be "too weird" for some.

Sure, the game is weird. But it works. It works so well, Nintendo has released ANOTHER WarioWare game--- this time for the Wii. They bring out all the big guns too, as Nintendo goes all out to attempt to make this game the most hilarious game ever made. You'll find yourself and your friends laughing as you attempt to do the elephant or the mohawk during the game. The use of the Wii-mote here...

Warioware: Smooth Moves on Wii

Strengths: Very fun party game!

Weakness: No online multi-player, short single player campaign.

This game fully take advantage of the Wiimote and is a fun collection of mini games. Been playing this game on gameboy and loved it. It is a very fun game to play with your buddy. Only drawback is no online multiplayer mode.

Wario Ware: Smooth Moves

Strengths: Diverse mini-games, numerous Wiimote actions, addictive multiplayer gameplay

Weakness: Somewhat short for single-player gameplay

WarioWare: Smooth Moves is the WarioWare franchise of very odd and very quick minigames on the Wii. The game uses the Wiimote to full potential with its numerous actions to play the minigames. There's plenty of minigame types to keep people entertained, though as a single player game, it's a little on the short side. The game shines in multiplayer with the frenzied gameplay. For a multiplayer Wii...

It's-a Wii, Wario!

Strengths: Amazing variety of microgames.

Weakness: Multiplayer mode has to be unlocked.

WarioWario: Smooth Moves is a great demonstration of the Wii's potential. Each microgame manages to use the Wii remote in new and interesting ways that make the player look silly. This, of course, makes WarioWario entertaining for groups of players and non-players alike. My main quibble is that the multiplayer mode can only be played after clearing the main story mode.

Smooth move

Strengths: Fun Fun Fun

Weakness: how about 2 players against each other?

This is a really really fun collection of mini games. I played the one on gameboy and loved it. With the Wii remote this thing is more fun, and it's even more fun watching your friend playing it.

WarioWare Smooth Moves

Strengths: Fun collection of rapid-fire minigames that puts the Wii Remote to the test.

Weakness: Somewhat shallow, even compared to previous WarioWare games.

WarioWare Smooth Moves was the first big Nintendo first-party release after the launch of the Wii (and thus after Zelda Twilight Princess). While the game filled the void of the otherwise bleak January/February release schedule, it falls just short of being an excellent game. As in all previous WarioWare games (2 on the GBA, 1 on the Gamecube, and 1 on the DS) the game consists of a bunch of...

Warioware: Smooth Moves

Strengths: Pretty fun game to play with friends

Weakness: Single player mode too short, Must beat single player to play multiplayer, Graphics Could be better

Warioware: Smooth Moves, is a fun party game that takes full advantage of the Wii's innovative control system, but there are a few weaknesses: 1.) The single player mode is very short, and not too challenging. One can probably get through it in a couple of hours. 2.) You can't play the multiplayer mode until you beat the single player mode, which is not a big deal since it doesn't take too long...

Wario Ware Rocks.

Strengths: Fun collection of games. Fast pase. Wonderful style. Fun Multi.

Weakness: Few

Wario is just great. There are a ton of little mini games and a plethora of different uses for the control stick. The fast pace and frantic style is fantastic. Also the characters and cutschenes are colorful and fun. One thign I don't like is that you have to beat the game to get access to multiplayer. I haven't done that yet so I can't comment on multi fun. You'll want to play multiple times to...

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

In between the few Mario and Zelda releases, Nintendo produces two series that popularized the idea of mini-games: Mario Party and WarioWare. No one has been able to escape the plumber party, which once received yearly updates like a sports game. WarioWare, on the other hand, is the king of unusual and the master of quirky. Its strange ideas and eye-popping mini-games do not share the appearance...
