A Monstrous Price for Enhanced Picture & SoundStrengths: Quality build; improves on the official Xbox 360 HD cable Weakness: Expensive; no analog audio While I acquired this cable dirt cheap (relatively speaking) and have noticed marginal visual improvement over the HD cable that's included with the premium Xbox 360, I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it. XBOX 360 HD COMPONENT CABLEStrengths: MONSTER QUALITY Weakness: HAS NO 2-CHANNEL ANALOG RCA CONNECTORS, ONLY OPTICAL CABLE. It only has an optical connector to reproduce sound, so you must have a 5.1 decoder. The optical cable does not plug directly into the XBOX end of the cable, but rather has a mini jack adapter making the connection a little weak. Other than that it'll give you the best picture and sound money can buy. Advertisement

If you are an audio/video-phile you may want to invest in these cables. You can see some difference in the picture from the Microsoft provided component cables. The audio is good, though I can't tell a difference from the optical connection with the Microsoft cable. For the price, this is only worth it if you have a nice big screen HDTV. Otherwise, you may not see much of a difference in picture...
