Product Details of Ratchet: Deadlocked

Description

This time around, Ratchet and Clank are on a mission trying to locate several famous heroes who have mysteriously disappeared. The good news is the duo located the missing people. The bad news is they find them after getting captured by the same person who has been going around stealing heroes. It turns out that a crazed media mogul named Gleeman Vox has been gathering heroes to act as contestants on his ultra-violent combat reality show, "DreadZone." Vox soon realizes that Ratchet has champion potential, so he forces the furry little guy into battle. Now, encased in a suit of armor and sporting an explosive collar to keep him in line, Ratchet has to compete in the game and go up against the deadly Exterminators (a team of warriors lead by a man called Ace Hardlight) in order to save himself and his friends.

Ratchet GLADIATOR

Strengths: Gameplay is good, Graphics are awsome.

Weakness: Not enough violence.

I played Ratchet Gladiator but these seem to just have a different name (for outside AUS). The only problem I can see with this game is that it lacks gore and violence. If you liked the last 3 then this is for you. If you liked Timesplitters 2 then this is for you. If you like basicly any 3rd person action game (save FSW) this is for you.

Ratchet Deadlocked

Strengths: - great graphics - great sound effects

Weakness: - weak plot

Ok for those who need to escape reality into simple minded violence. The graphics and sound effects can help to wisk you away into an alternate reality, but the weak plot makes that alternate reality a little pale.

Most action packed game in the series.

Strengths: Great graphics, sound, Co-Op play, online multiplayer battle modes, and 4-player split-screen.

Weakness: Rare framerate problems.

"Ratchet: Deadlocked" goes in a slightly different direction than the others but it's just as awesome as "Up your Arsenal". This time they focused more on action than platforming and puzzle solving which is not necessarily better but is a nice change of pace. Like the previous game, the movies are hilarious. The story is not quite as deep as the others but you won't care because you'll be having...

Deadlocked

Strengths: very fun and exciting

Weakness: not as man secrets to unlock

Ratchet: Deadlocked is a great sequel to the Ratchet series. The story took place shortly after the events in Ratchet: Up Your Arsenal." However, this game was not as good as the other three games because it doesn't have as many puzzling adventures and there aren't enough unlockable secrets. On the other hand, I love the game. It was very enjoyable and only a minor dissapointment.

Rambo Ain't Got Nothing On Ratchet!

Strengths: Online Play, Co-Story Mode, Lots of Multiplayer Modes

Weakness: No Puzzle Platform Gameplay

Ratchet: Deadlocked is the 4th game from Insomniac on the Playstation 2 and while some will be disappointed that it doesn't have any platforming or puzzle type gameplay elements to it like the previous games that doesn't mean it's not good as it still does a tramendous job on the run and gun gameplay aspects from the previous games. The one thing that is really cool is that Ratchet: Deadlocked...

Ratchet Deadlocked

Strengths: graphics, fun

Weakness: short

Racchet Deadlocked isn't as good as the previous Ratchet and Clank series. Ratchet is more of an arena style game than an adventure game. It is also alittle on the short side and there isn't as much replay value.

Fun for short sessions, but lacks depth

Strengths: fast paced shooter

Weakness: they stretched out the arena battles found in the previous games and made it a game of its own.

Ratchet Deadlocked isn't a sequel to the series but more like an off shoot. They've tried to add an element of squad based shooters as Ratchet can control 2 robots but their inclusion doesn't add much to the game as all they do is provide backup fire. You can also ride in flying machines, mechs, and whatnot but sometimes these vehicles are more frustrating to control. The developers pretty much...

Ratchet: Deadlocked

Strengths: Gameplay, graphics

Weakness: N/A

Ratchet: Deadlocked is a great sequel to the Ratchet series. The story took place shortly after the events in Ratchet: Up Your Arsenal" with Ratchet being the captain of the starship Phoenix. However, Ratchet and Clank were kidnapped and forced to compete on the game show "Dreadzone" where the game starts. The gameplay is as good as the other three games in the series. I enjoyed it very much. It...

Deadlocked

Strengths: New weapons

Weakness: Poor story elements, not what it used to be

I had heard this game was different from the previous installments of Ratchet & Clank, but since I had so much fun playing the previous 3, I just had to get it anyways. Looking back, I wish I hadn't. The things that I enjoyed in the first 3 are all gone. Gone is the platforming and story. Instead, we now have guns, guns, and well... guns. Granted this was the cool thing about Ratchet, but when...

Ratchet Deadlocked

Strengths: Well-polished 3rd person shooter

Weakness: Fewer weapons, lack of exploration compared to previous installments

Ratchet Deadlocked is the fourth installment of the Ratchet & Clank series. This one continues the evolution of the game from a Jak & Daxter like platforming adventure with shooter elements to a pure shooting game. The close to 90 missions nearly all involve taking out hordes of enemies. While this is very well done it does take some of the variety out of the game. As with the previous games the...

Ratchet & Clank Deadlocked

Insomniac Games brings back one of its most beloved characters, Ratchet, in RATCHET: DEADLOCKED for the PS2. Although more of the focus is on combat instead of the traditional platform action, Deadlocked still plays similar to the previous RATCHET AND CLANK games. RATCHET: DEADLOCKED begins shortly after the end of RATCHET AND CLANK: Up your Arsenal. The three heroes, Ratchet, Clank, and mechanic...

Ratchet: Deadlocked

Somehow it always comes down to two of the gaming world’s most influential platform franchises and almost always these two forces manage to produce great games that have gamers wondering which one to buy. This year, though, the Jak series has gone to the races while the Ratchet series continues to bring us yet another helping of the same platform gaming joy it established with Ratchet and...

Ratchet Deadlocked

I have to give Insomniac Games credit. The team has managed to hold its line of Ratchet and Clank titles to a very high standard that few other franchises could ever hope to achieve. And while I'm a fan of Naughty Dog's Jak series and Sucker Punch's Sly trilogy just like everybody else, for my money no other annual PS2 game has been as consistently fun as Insomniac's Lombax and robot duo over the...
