This game is really good

Strengths: additive gameplay, good graphics and 10 fatalities per character!!!! CO-OP!!!!!!

Weakness: I little on the short side but the co-op makes so much fun tho play over and over

I bought this game and like the challange to unlock all the players in the vs mode. I would have enjoyed more playable characters but I hear rumors that they can be secret ways they can be unlocked!!!!! GO ERMAC!!!!

Mortal Kombat beats the point spread on this one. . .

Strengths: Solid fighting game, loads of MK lore and content, co-op play support, Mortal Kombat 2 arcade game included

Weakness: Lots of backtracking, short overall length, inconsistent difficulty level

Taking up shortly after the finish of the first Mortal Kombat, Shaolin Monks bridges the gap between the first and second game by placing you in the role of Liu Kang or Kung Lao as you try to escape a rapidly deteriorating island fortress. Series fans will enjoy all of the series characters and environments the developer has worked into this game as well as a ton of unlockable content. The...

Best MK Ever!

Strengths: Incredibly fun to play alone or with a friend. Nice graphics. Excellent controls. Great intro movie.

Weakness: No Online Co-op. Versus fighting is against 2 player only. Last boss can be annoying.

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is an action/adventure game set in the Mortal Kombat universe. The game is a lot like God of War with exploration and puzzle solving with tons of ultraviolent combat in between. You can play alone but the real draw of this game is the co-op play. Two players can go through the entire story together. The major drawback is that there is no online co-op so you will need...

MK Shaolin Monks

Strengths: New gameplay style, coop mode

Weakness: maybe backtracking

One of the best 3-D style sidescrolling adventure. You can use Liu Kang or Kung Lao or better yet, get a friend and play co-op mode. Fight through the stages along with the story and earn enough experience points to gain special moves or crazy fatalities. This game also includes the arcade classic Mortal Kombat II. It's nice enough for them to add that extra to it. It makes the game sweeter. For...

Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks

Beat-'em-ups are a hard genre to develop for. Sometimes we call them brawlers, and sometimes we call them crap. Nine times out of ten they turn out to be the latter, primarily because of that little "R" word we gamers are forced to use much too often. ("Repetition.") Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks can be repetitive, there's no denying that. It can also be intense, exciting, and nostalgic. This game...

Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks

Midway Games' Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks is one those games that, four years ago, would have sucked. In fact, Mortal Kombat Trilogy did suck, but Shaolin Monks, despite a few rough edges, is not only good, the co-op game makes it great.
