Warioware on the DS

Strengths: The Wario Ware formula, good uses of the features of the DS

Weakness: Too short even for Wario Ware standards, some levels seem repetitive.

Wario Ware: Touched! is the first Wario Ware title for the DS. Known for it's unique setup, the series's s port over to the DS seemed to be a no brainer. The result is a mixed bag though. Most of the games utilize the touchscreen, and even the microphone. The problem though is that there isn't that many ways the touch screen is really used beyond just simply dragging, rubbing or poking. Because...

Touch Wario!

Strengths: Good use of the touch screen and mic

Weakness: game are too easy

Wario is back, and this time on DS. Using the touch scree and mic, you play mini games with Wario and his friend. In order to force you to use the touch screen, you cant use the d-pad at all. This means there isnt any other game like it. My only complain is that the mini games are too easy, and can all be unlock in a short time.

I turned my teacher into a spoon....

Strengths: Ashley. Ashley. Ashley.

Weakness: Probably the worst Wario Ware despite Ashley.

Wario Ware is a great series, and Touched! is a worthy installment in the series. However, it is the weakest entry in the series. It gets a lot of hate, but it deserves to exist because of the introducted of the character Ashley alone. She refers to her spell book, and yes it's true: Wario Ware Touched! is a fine game. It may not be worth the $35 or $40 or whatever they hell they were asking for...

Wario Ware Touched!

Strengths: Stylus action, assortment of minigames

Weakness: Short

Wario Ware Touched! is a collection of short, silly minigames that make good use of the features of the Nintendo DS. These are short minigames, lasting 5-10 seconds each in general. They make use of the stylus and are intuitive to play. They are perfect on a portable platform, since you can easily occupy yourself with these minigames while on the move.

WarioWare

Strengths: Use of Touch Screen

Weakness: Not enough Mini Games

This game is very very fun for the Nintendo DS. They did a great job utilizing the Touch Screen, and most of the mini games are REALLY fun to play. My only problem was, I didn't think there were enough Minigames to keep me interested for a long time. But they did a FANTASTIC job on the game.

Very fun & quirky...but too short

Strengths: Great use of the stylus

Weakness: Game is too short, needs more minigames

For anyone unfamiliar hasn't played them before, the Wareioware games are a unique experience that's difficult to describe. Basically, you play a succession of very short minigames that get faster and faster until you lose or reach the stage boss. While Warioware Touched! is better than Warioware Twisted (gba) and Warioware for Gamecube, I still feel like Nintendo skimped out a bit for this...

Short But Sweet

Strengths: Presentation, Touch Screen Use

Weakness: Very Short, No Wireless Multiplayer Modes

WarioWare Touched is the follow up to Wario Ware: Mega Microgame$ on the GameBoy Advance. It takes players though 180 different mini-games in rapid succession just as the game prior to it did the biggest difference being that WarioWare Touched makes use of the touch screen during many of the mini-games and even the microphone on the Nintendo DS for afew of the mini-games. While on it's own any...

Wario Ware in DS!

Strengths: Great lots of silly micro games

Weakness: Some are difficult

Wario micro games are great in GBA and Gamecube. Besides the same great parts released in the previous two platforms, it has more "touching" elements in the DS version. Some games require to use the stylus to complete and some require the microphones. This is a game containing tons of silly micro games. Each one can be done within seconds. It is perfect when you are waiting in the line or etc. If...

Wacky and Intuitive

Strengths: Intuitive use of stylus, silly microgames.

Weakness: A bit easy compared to other WarioWare titles.

I loved the original WarioWare, and Touched! is a worthy addition to the series. The same wacky microgames and goofy sense of humor are present, only now the stylus is employed in fun and creative ways. Touched! definitely makes excellent use of the unique features of the DS and is easy even for a novice to play.

DS Minigames galore

Strengths: Great use of the touch screen

Weakness: Some of the games are a bit contrived

If you want someone to get hooked on the DS pretty quick, give them WarioWare Touched! A huge collection of 5 second minigames, this game uses the stylus in any way you can imagine while remaining intuitive enough for a novice to figure it out in that 5 second span. While not a horribly long game, the replay factor and competitive nature are definitely there for those worrying about value.

WarioWare Touched!

Since its first appearance on the Game Boy Advance, the Warioware series has offered an addicting blend of fun and quirky minigames. Now, the series is making an appearance on Nintendo’s latest system, the Nintendo DS. The system, which features a focus on its use of two screens, also features touch screen capabilities, which is the main feature that Warioware Touched exploits well. Warioware...
