Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionA smart movie for its time. Entertaining almost all the way through with very good performances. Created a catch phrase and a movie character many use as a reference for someone they know.

Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionOne of my favorite movies. Gordon Gekko was a great character because he was a ruthless Alpha-Male but you never see him directly hurt anyone. I've seen the movie many times and still don't understand all the "stock market" mumbo-jumbo, but I'm better at it than without the movie.

It shows how, in an attempt to be "successful," if you're not careful you can sellout your values for money. Thus, leaving you rich and successful, but empty. This movie illustrates the indifference of the capitalist system, how it can chew people up and ruin their lives because of the intense competition.
