Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness
Strengths: Classic Harvest Moon Gameplay, Great Simulation, Pre-Order Bonus
Weakness: Doesn't work for everyone
Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness is the latest Harvest Moon game for the Nintendo DS. If you've played Harvest Moon before, you know the basic outline, you have a farm, you grow crops, raise animals, and live in a town where you can go around, shop, interact with people, and maybe pick one to get married to.
The basic gameplay consists of things like watering crops, feeding animals, and other things involved in running a farm.
This type of gameplay surely won't appeal to everyone, but for those it does, like myself, it is addictive, and a very fun simulation. I love living in the town and playing it each day.
All in all, a very good game, but not for everyone. If you've never played Harvest Moon before, try the game before you buy it.
