ProphecyStrengths: Great soundtrack, good voice actors, unique game. Weakness: Not much replay value Did you use to like those text-based games in the old days? Then you'll want to try this game out. Imagine a text-based game brought up to modern standards, and that's what this is. The overall story is intriguing and the adventure aspect is great as well. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Indigo Prophecy or should I say Fahrenheit?Strengths: Highly interactive environments, interesting take on the genre Weakness: Controls are a bit awkward at first, story starts out great but the last third seems very rushed and forced The gameplay is very unique as you play as both the "killer" and the two police officers who are trying to catch him. Having knowledge from both sides, it creates a very interesting dynamic for the player. Do you help the "killer" or the police? Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Indigo ProphecyStrengths: Mystery and plot twists Weakness: Replay value Indigo Prophecy is a fine piece of story telling game. It's filled with mysteries and plot twists that does a pretty good job of keeping you on the edge of your seat. The game surrounds a murder investigation and lets you unravel mysteries and the story unfolds. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Indigo ProphecyStrengths: Mystery based game Weakness: A little discontinuity here and there in the story Indigo Prophecy is a great murder-mystery solving game with a clever plot and twists and surprises in the story. At times, it is more like an interactive movie than a video game. Nevertheless, its clever plot and twists and turns will keep you glued to the console and display for hours. You should at least rent this game for the story. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Indigo ProphecyStrengths: Well-designed murder-mystery story with numerous twists Weakness: Less focus on gameplay Indigo Prophecy is an example of a game that puts storytelling ahead of action. The plot is a clever take on a typical crime drama, with the player controlling characters on both sides of a murder investigation. The game plays well enough, but often takes a backseat to the unraveling story. This game is really intended for those that tend to enjoy games with many cutscenes and complex characters. If you are the type that likes to skip straight to the action, this game is probably not for you, but if you're looking for more of an interactive adventure game, give this a try. A great innovative titleStrengths: Immersive, unique, well acted Weakness: Story falls apart in the third act, some gameplay elements don't carry over to the end Indigo Prophecy is a great game. It is a unique title overlooked by many, but if you were ever a fan of the adventure game genre, you owe it to yourself to pick this up. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Indigo Prophecy
I’m sitting at a local diner in NYC, trying to take a breather from the monotonous day with a bite to eat. The air outside is so cold that it’s hard to breath, and this record-breaking winter just seems to be getting worse and worse. It’s not like my personal life is faring much better than the weather either, as each passing day seams to grow more and more hopeless. Things just haven’t... Top

An Interesting And Unique Adventure Game
Strengths: Story, Audio
Weakness: Graphics, Camera (At Times)
Indigo Prophecy is an interesting game as it has a deep story similar to an adventure (or point & click adventure) game yet you move around in a 3D environment and will actually take part in controls that are much like a rhythm game or mini-game during action sequences. The first thing that should be noted about Indigo Prophecy is that it has an interesting and original story that is unlike just about any game on any of the home console systems along with really well done voice overs. The Graphics ain't the best looking compared to other Playstation 2 games but the animation is good has it's done in full motion. At times the camera gives you a bad view but this is a problem that seems to plague many games and isn't bad enough in Indigo Prophecy to ruin the fun.
I would highly recommend Indigo Prophecy to fans of adventure games or any one interested in a game that is something different with a good story has Indigo Prophecy is one of the freshest gaming experiences on any system.
