Mega Man Battle Network 3: White GBA

Strengths: Great gameplay, addictive, long for the low price, a lot of fun

Weakness: Very similar to first 2 (very little upgraded)

This game is a ton of fun. It successfully combines the traditional platform elements of Mega Man with RPG elements such as customizing you Navi. Bought to play against my brother, and combatting each other is a lot of fun as well. Highly recommended, especially if you are new to the franchise.

MMBN3:WV

Strengths: The game stays the same as the last two. Quite long for as cheap as this game can be found.

Weakness: The game stays the same as the last two. I wasn't ever to keen on having two versions of basically the same game.

This game's formula, you either love it or hate it. For me at least, I love it since I know what to expect and that it will last. Not the best RPG line out there, but one of the easiest to get into.

Weakness: Some fans of the 2D action games may not take a liking to the way the Battle Network games play

I can't really condemn the MMBN series for staying the same; in fact, it's the aspects that remained the same that I felt were the best. It's what they changed that I can't say I enjoyed too much. While I welcome the idea of Capcom trying to innovate a bit, it detracted from the overall enjoyability of the game. Still, it's a fun game, certainly one of the better RPGs on the GBA, but it falls short in some areas. It's not as good as MMBN2, but it will still provide a great degree of entertainment.

Mega Man Battle Network 3 White

Mega Man Battle Network 3 is the latest title in Capcom’s GBA action-RPG series. This entry deviates from the rest of the series by shipping in two different versions, a Blue and a White version (the White version was used for this review). However, the basic gameplay formula and much of the graphics and sound have been carried over from the previous games in the series. This may bother those...
