Burnout 3 expansionStrengths: Presentation, graphics, sense of speed, adds just enough to make it a different experience from Burnout 3 Weakness: not realistic Burnout Revenge will appeal to just about any gamer. It's all about racing fast, creating havok, and destroying your opponents. Actually the destruction part probably plays a bigger role than winning the races. The game grades you based on how much stuff you destroyed. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The Best Arcade Racer Ever!!!!Strengths: Gameplay, new features, music, Weakness: can't play single player arcade mode This hands-down is the most exhilarating game I have ever played. This is a game everyone can pick up a play and will have a blast with it. The controls are easy to learn and the addition of traffic checking makes the game less frustrating and funner. The graphics are superb--much grittier than Burnout 3. The tracks are now designed for battling---such ramps to allow you to do vertical takedowns---COOL!!! Crash mode have also been improved. Gone are the multipliers and in are multiple crashbreakers. Cause enough damage to your car and you can have your car explode for more chaos. The biggest addition is probably the ability to traffic check. Now you can hit any cars (besides buses and trucks) going in the same direction and use them as missiles to knock other cars. Overall, Burnout Revenge is faster, prettier, and funner than Burnout 3. A must-own game for the PS2. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Burnout Revenge
Criterion is a genius. First they made Burnout, which launched an entirely new sub-genre of racing games. Then they made it better with Burnout 2, and revolutionized the genre once more with Burnout 3: Takedown. Mind-blowing graphics, unprecedented speed, interactive crash sequences that put Hollywood to shame – how can they top this? Where will the series go to next to achieve the next... Top

Burnout Revenge
Criterion set quite a task before itself: create a sequel to what is arguably the best arcade racing title ever, Burnout 3: Takedown. Said game was praised left and right not only critically and by gamers everywhere, but by essentially everyone in the IGN offices, which is a very, very rare thing. Top

Quick Races with More Crashes!
Strengths: just about everything
Weakness: easier than Burnout 3: Takedown, loading times
The biggest addition to Burnout Revenge is now you can ram cars from behind and kind of use them as projectiles to knock any cars in front of you. It's a useful tool at times and creates more chaos on the roads but it also takes away some of the tension.
In previous games if you crashed into a car your car was wrecked. It forced you to weave around traffic. But now you can just plow right through traffic so in a sense you don't have to be as careful, which takes away some of the challenge.
And although not new for Revenge, there are a lot of long load times in this game.
