Still the best hack 'n slash game!

Strengths: Graphics, sound, gameplay

Weakness: Camera, loading

This is the true sequal to the best 3D action hack 'n slash game, Ninja Gaiden (Black, Sigma). In NG2, TeamNinja turns up the action 10X and dial down the platforming and exploring 90%. What you get now is a pure action game with the series' strengh in gameplay 100% intact. You will not find a game of its kind with better action and fighting system on any platform. However, NG2 also carries over the series' signature weakness, the camera system. But with action as ferocious as this series, it's hard to blame the developers for not giving us a perfect camera system. New weakness to the series is the frequent loading in the middle of levels. It's not too bad and usual only couple seconds, but it was never the case with the original games on the original Xbox. All said, these minor weaknesses are not enough to keep it from being the best 3D hack 'n slash game on the market.

Ninja Gaiden - Series moves ahead in style

Strengths: Good graphics, Nice moves & Gameplay advances with game

Weakness: Camera

For all you fans of Ninja Gaiden & Devil may cry series, you cannot afford to miss this game. It is much more action packed with cool moves that you unlock as you progress in the game. The graphics are amazing & gore effects are pretty good. The game comes across more violent than earlier versions but you will enjoy it as long as the camera angles do not get in your way.
The sound & music is pretty good but a good story is lacking. But with all that great action going on, there is not much time to ponder over a story anyways. It is one of the best looking games out there.
Again, anyone who like games from action genre - go get it.
It has already dropped in price which is yet another reason to buy it

Ninja Gaiden II

Strengths: Graphics, fast actions, weapons

Ninja Gaiden II is another installment of the Ninja Gaiden series for the XBox 360. Once again, the main protagonist Ryu Hayabusa confronts the Black Spider Ninja clan and various enemies.

The battle system is brutal. Ryu begins the adventure with the Dragon Blade and then along the way this expands into eight meelee weapons, various projectiles and magic spells. You can unlock new combos when you upgrade your meelee weapons.

There are 14 stages and all the way you leave behind bloodshed and gore. The graphics is great and animation is smooth. It is a great looking game, putting the blood level aside.

The only complain is the horrible camera angle that tends to halt the progress of the bloodshed. Other than that, this is a solid game.

Ninja Gaiden II is an instant classic and makes a lot of hardcore gamers very happy. Gamers who like great ninja actions but don't mind the level of blood and gore, they will find this game entertaining and satisfying.

Enhancements, jaw-dropping battles and a near-seamless combat system are a part of Ninja Gaiden II. But if you were blown away by the Xbox original, you may only be very impressed with the sequel.
