Tony Hawks Underground 2 Remix

Strengths: Graphics are Very good, over 30 tracks of real music, a lot of unlockables

Weakness: Bad Framerate, a bit boring, Create a skatepark missing

I had a lot of fun with this game, this is a port of the PS2 Tony Hawk's underground with a few extra levels added.. The graphics are very on par with the ps2 version, even though the framerate isnt..

I enjoyed the story aspects of this game a lot, even though they didnt serve much.. Create a skater was detailed as usual, and you can import your own face onto the memory card, into the game. I especally enjoyed the Classic mode.

This would have been perfect if there was not so much loading, and if there was a better framerate... these are very very minor issues, and I would reccomend this game to everybody that is interested in a purchase

Same Old Tony

Strengths: Online Mode

Weakness: The odd controls

If you like Tony Hawk, you'll like this. It is basically the same game thats on the console. The controls are awkward because maybe i'm just used to the PS2 controller. This is not a bad game, but it's not great either. Buy it as a Greatest Hits title or 29.99 and under.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix

Strengths: Great graphics, near perfect port of the console version

Weakness: Hard to get used to the controls

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix is an excellent example of what the PSP is capable of. This game is a near perfect port of the original on the PS2 and even includes a couple PSP exclusive levels. The story mode and classic modes are both included, so there are many hours of gameplay here. The graphics are crisp and nearly identical to the console version, although there is occasional slow down. The controls are the standard Tony Hawk scheme, but I found the d-pad to be a little difficult to get used to. The game has wireless multi-player which is fun. Overall, it's amazing how close this is to being as good as the console version. I highly recommend this to any Tony Hawk fans.

Tony Hawks Underground 2 Remix

Strengths: Great new levels. Same great game. Story mode is better with level choices.

Weakness: Graphics arent quite as good as the Underground 2 game for PS2. Songs seem to skip. Controls are a little difficult to figure out.

This is a great game for PSP. It has everything that is on the PS2 game exept the graphics arent as good and there is no create a skate park. The only problem I have with this game is that the loading times are slow and when in the main menu or selecting a skater the song that is playing suddenly skips to another song and then that song skips. You can play head to head wirelessly with up to 4 players too.

THUG 2 Good for on the GO.

Strengths: Faithful Port. Added levels. Looks good.

Weakness: If you've already played THUG might be worth a Pass.

THUG 2 for the PSP is actually a very good port of the game to the portable market. It looks quite good compared to the console versions. There are some graphics that were trimmed down but still looks great. especially for a travel game.

You can play in normal mission modes r play in the older style with a counter. The time counter actually helps on the PSP because it gives you a limit in case you want to play a short game on the go. Add a few new levels that are exclusive and it's a greta portable game.

The only downside is that if you've already played THUG 2 on one of the Consoles, you might not get as much out of playing it again. Otherwise, fi you liek this type of Game, the PSP version is the best for protables.

Very nice port of a great game

Strengths: Great graphics, fun storyline

Weakness: Awkward controls

I've been playing this game for a week or two now, and I have to say that it's a great segue from console to handheld. I played it for several hours on a car trip recently, and I was thoroughly entertained. My only complaint is that using the d-pad to control the skater is kind of awkward for quick movements, and the analog stick is almost unusable for movement. If you can get used to the controls though, it's a really fun game.

THUG 2 Gets Remixed

Strengths: 4 New Levels

Weakness: Minor Control Changes

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix is a remake of Tony Hawk's Underground 2 from the console systems with some extras added in. The biggest thing added is the four new stages, they also rearranged the order in which you play though the levels in the story mode. The controls have been slightly change for the PSP since you don't have all of the buttons that a Playstation 2 control has for example you have to hold circle down and move the analog numb around in order to look around since you don't have 2 analogs sticks like on a Playstation 2 controller.

I would highly recommend Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix to fans of the Tony Hawk series has it's a near perfect port to a portable system with extra added in for good measure.

THUG 2 Remix

Strengths: gameplay, nearly identical to the console version, 4 brand new levels

Weakness: PSP screen to small to acomodate vast environment

If you have one Tony Hawk game, you probably have played them all. The series haven't changed much through the years and the PSP THUG 2 remix is no different. This title plays nearly identical to the console version. There are four new levels added the game. The one problem I had playing this game is that sometimes, things got a tad difficult to see. The PSP screen size does not do this game justice---all the environments are crammed into a little screen.

If you are a die-hard Tony Hawk fan and wants to pull tricks on the go, this is a game for you.

Mini THUG 2

Strengths: Tricks, graphics

Weakness: The Nub on the PSP

Great condensed version of THUG 2 for the PSP. The game looks great, but unfortunately there is the nub control on the PSP. It takes quite awhile to get used to using the nub. The game play is smooth, the load times are a bit long, but worth $20.

Tony Hawk PSP

Strengths: Graphics, gameplay

Weakness: None really, this game is good

This game is actually really fun. It works well on the PSP, and the graphics are awesome. It's just like other Tony Hawk Underground games, except portable, you ride around doing tricks, it's semi open-ended. Good game all around.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix Review

If you watch MTV on a daily basis, like reality shows, extreme sports, and think Steve-O as a guest appearance is a good idea, this is your game. You may even like the soundtrack, except maybe for a few oldies. For everyone else, there is still classic Tony Hawk fun to be had here. Classic Mode still captures some of the fun of THPS 1-3, and Story Mode is tolerable at least once. Classic mode is...

Seven PSP Games Reviewed

The titles that were available at the PSP's launch were some of the most impressive of any new platform to date. One title that everyone should have tucked away in their sleek black handheld is Tony Hawk's Underground 2: Remix. Developer Shaba Games has ported over Tony Hawk's Underground 2 from the PS2, and added some refinements that improve what was an already great game.

Tony Hawk's Underground 2 Remix

The skating is larger than life, the tricks are huge, the stages are layered horizontally and are expansive … in other words, the game is BIG. When Shaba Games took Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 Remix to the PSP, the company faced quite a challenge. After all, THUG 2 has had a really successful run on other platforms, and comparisons to taking the World Destruction Tour onto the handheld would be...
