An Underated Fighter
Strengths: Interesting characters, nice graphics, over-the-top gameplay
Weakness: No online play
The Bloody Roar franchise is probably one of the most underrated fighting series of all time. Bloody Roar Extreme is an extremely fun fighting game with tight controls. There are a wide variety of characters to pick from and each character can turn into their beast form. I like the dual aspect of having two different forms for each character as it allows for some strategy. This is a fighting game that doesn't take itself to seriously and that really makes it a blast to play. It's an easy game for beginners to pick up and play and the fighting system is deep enough with special moves, counters, and reversals to keep fighting pros coming back for a long time. While it may not be as highly regarded as some other fighting games, I think Bloody Roar Extreme holds its own in the fun department. It's definitely worth checking out.
