Activision Soldier of Fortune 2 GoldStrengths: great graphics, gore is good, real weapons, great teamplay and deathmatch(muliplayer). great maps. Weakness: none.... i use a 1.4gig p4 512 megs of ram, 64 meg video card , cable modem. never lag, great muliplayer team matches, great multiplayer death matches. we need some new maps from ravensoft, but if you get the game now, it will take you 6 months to learn the maps we have....good maps too!! weapons are great. 79% of readers found this review helpful. Activision Soldier of Fortune 2 GoldStrengths: Excellent Graphics, Sick Gun Sounds, G.O.R.E. Weakness: Beggining levels are not very catching. This is the one of the best first person shooters I have ever played, however I only understood that in the Third Level. Once you start to play the game is not very catching, you are not given the best weapons and the environemtn of the first level is kind of bleek. However, once you get through that SOFII finally shows what it is made of. Amazing weapons, sick sounds, great reloads, terrific aiming and blood animations. The gore gives the game a sense of realism. You also get a mix of bloody action, covert ops, and others. This game is definetely a hit. Buy it!!!!! 75% of readers found this review helpful. Activision Soldier of Fortune 2 GoldStrengths: gameplay,graphics,sound,detailed damage system Weakness: very hard,minor bugs Soldier of Fortune 2 is not perfect but still a solid FPS game.I never actually played the first game but heard that it was good so I had high expectations when I bought this game.Luckily I was not dissapointed by any means and the game was well worth the money.The gameplay for SoF2 is good with high adrenaline gun fights through environments ranging from jungles to city streets.There are plenty of weapons to use and lots of mission to play through of all different kinds which require stealth to just plane run and gun.You could look at the diffuculty of this game as an advantage or a disadvantage but unless your an FPS vet I think its a disadvantage.SoF2 has different difficulty levels to choose from but even on the easiest level at times it seems almost impossible.This doesnt stop SoF2 from being a solid game though since I still managed to beat it, it just takes some time and can be frustrating.There are some minor bugs I experienced such as lock ups but these were few and far between.The sound in the game is good, all the gun fire and explosions are great, even the voice acting is decent.As for multiplayer, its fun but I had a hard time getting into most games so definetely not the best part of the game.The damage system in this game is great, and if its to disgusting for you then theres even the option to tone down the violence.Overall, SoF2 is a solid game thats worth the purchase if your into FPS games. 56% of readers found this review helpful. Activision Soldier of Fortune 2 Gold
Strengths: UNBELIEVABLY excellent blood and gore, great sound and voice-acting, pretty good story line, different enviroments, different weapons and equipment, ability to play quick (non-campaign) missions

Everything about this game rocks! I would highly recomend it to anyone that doesn't mind extremly realistic blood and gore. You can kill someone, then get out your knife and hack them into peices! If you hack at their face, you can actually make the jaw-area fall off...not even to mention every limb. The quick missions are great for quick little games that work exactly like a campaign game, only u set the map, misson, time of day, etc. Buy this game now!
