Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2
For a neophyte trading-card gamer, jumping into a Yu-Gi-Oh game is much like learning to fire walk over a mile-long stretch of fresh lava. You are going to get burned … badly. So along comes Yu-Gi-Oh Tag Force 2, replete with characters from a fleshed-out universe, and a gameplay mechanic that is a little daunting to start. Diving right in was the wrong thing to do. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2 (PSP)
Strengths: An improvement over what was already good game, challenging, addicting, many new features
Weakness: None
This is Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Tag Force 2 for the PSP. It is the second game in the series for the PSP. This game takes the storyline into the second season of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime series. Gameplay is pretty much the same as its predecessor. You start out in the Academy and go around challenging other duelists. One place where this game improves upon the first game is that you can choose your tag team partner from the start. If you have played the first game, you know what a chore it was to get a partner. Another new feature is the ability to connect to the PS2 if you have the Destiny of Heroes game. More cards and characters become available. Additional cards can also be obtained using UMB recognition. If you have other PSP games, they can be used to obtain cards using this feature. There are also mini games, which are also new. Overall, I would recommend this game to all Yu-Gi-Oh! fans. This has been the most challenging Yu-Gi-Oh! game I have played to date. Not know what cards your partner has or what cards your partner will play adds a little unpredictability. If you like the first game, you will not be disappointed with Tag Force 2. With so many new features, this game improves upon the first game while retaining what was good.
