More of the Same (If You Like That Sort of Thing)Strengths: New levels and weapons; good graphics; interesting art design Weakness: Long load times; new orchestral soundtrack If you're a big fan of mindlessly killing lots of gruesome monsters with a variety of different weapons, then PainKiller: Overdose is for you. Following on the heels of the original Painkiller, Overdose continues the carnage with new weapons and levels that, while not as truly original as those in Painkiller, still show a high degree of creativity and originality. Your player also talks now, offering up plenty of snarky one-liners as hellish enemies are dispatched. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Painkiller: Overdose
In 2004 Painkiller struck a chord with the masses through its unusual settings and old-school FPS gameplay. I can still remember one of the best levels I’ve ever played from the original consisted of fighting your way through a frozen representation of every era in human history. Fast forward three years with the release of Painkiller: Overdose, a “continuation” of a fast-pased,... Top

Didn't I already play this once
Strengths: Garaphics. Gameplay
Weakness: More of the same
There's not much to say about Painkiller Overdose. It's a lot like the original and expansion. The graphics still somewhat hold their own compared to newer titles. There are a few new monsters/weapons, and the environment has a few different areas. If you pass this game up you won't be sorry. If you enjoyed the first 2 and didn't get sick of them, you might enjoy this. If you haven't played any of the painkiller series consider the Painkiller"Triple Dose" for all 3 games.
