Atari Act of War: Direct Action DVD Edition
Strengths: Great if you love to make things go BOOM!!! Good strategy game, one of the best RTS on the market
Weakness: Somewhat confusing controlls (you get used to them fast) Units on all the sides are somewhat similar in power (in other words the units are the same underneath)
It has a very easy learning curve, you can pick it up right away. the story is great and is full of twists and turns. Ive left off a while ago but I'm just about finished with it. anybody who is a fan of the RTS genre will love this game. The cut scenes are great. the can be a little corny at times but its like watching a movie. Everything is highly destructable and detail is increadable. The campaign is a lot of fun and can be easy enough for the clumsiest beginners or hard enough to challenge any RTS pro. Skirmish mode can be infuriating at times cause even at easy mode the computer can build twice as fast as you can and will rush you immediately. AI is almost to smart at times and will exploit every weakness. The only other bad thing is that it only runs on higher end machines. you can change the settings down if you want but it loses a lot of its flavor that way. Overall its one of the best games Ive played in a long time.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!
