A bigger badder Enemy Territory

Strengths: - Excellent asymmetric teams - Huge, detailed levels - Relatively smart AI bots - Online player statistics

Weakness: - Doesn't follow the Quake storyline

There isn't much a single player in the game as its basically just playing with bots. Good idea if you're new to team-based multiplayer. The online play on the otherhand is awesome. With the five different classes, I can usually find a position that suits my fancy.
This game requires a good deal of teamwork for things to go smoothly (ie Quarry). With a well-coordinated team, the enemy might not stand a chance :)

Good game for a teamwork fun

Strengths: Updated graphics, more complicated missions, lot's of new vehicles and weapons, bots are build-in :)

Weakness: I still like TF2 more :)

It's another evolution of enemy territory. I have been playing previous version for quite some time and this one looks like bigger and better. However I'm spending more time in TF2 now.

If you loved ET, you will love this even more

Strengths: Cool missions; many player types and very large level maps

Weakness: A little of the same; Nothing drastically different from the original ET. No single-player mods like BF2142. No voice comm.

Excellent game if you like multiplayer action. The bots have good AI.

The games needs teamwork, strategy and a good machine to play with to enjoy the graphics.

Fun at times

Strengths: Multiplayer is fun

Weakness: Single player is lacking

This game is mildly entertaining. It will keep you entertained for awhile. I would definitely recommend playing the demo first to make sure it is something you would want to buy.

Enemy Territory Quake wars

Strengths: Action packed

Weakness: no solo play

Fun game specially for the multiplaying only drawback is no story or solo playing on this game. Need higher end computer to play, Great graphics, fast paced, never slows down, keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Quake takes on Gears

Strengths: Plenty of action, decent bot AI in single player game, terrific look to the levels

Weakness: Multiplayer game much more engaging than the single player

It's a class-based multiplayer experience that brings Gears-like gameplay to the PC. Terrific graphics and weapons, great mission objectives. Some have commented that the lack of voice communication among teammates is a big deficit; tend to agree.

Reasonable game

Strengths: price

Weakness: graphics, gameplay

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a reasonable first person shooter. However, it does not stand out among tons of shooters this year.

The graphics is ok, and gameplay is reasonable (multi-player only, though).

I got it on sale from Best Buy, so I don't regret the purchase.

Activision Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

Strengths: Great gameplay, teamplay, fun battles

Weakness: Doom 3 engine

Much like Enemy Territory, this game is class based, unlike Quake series. In the original Quake, it was all just killing and fast paced action, this one requires strategy and teamwork.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

Strengths: Epic battles, strategy and team-play.

Weakness: Doom 3 engine is a bit dated.

This is not your father's Quake. This one has battles, strategy and teamwork built-in similar to BF2 & COD4. Make sure your rig can handle the system requirements for this game and you'll be sure to have a blast. It's built on top of the Doom 3 engine which is getting a bit long in the tooth, but graphics and sounds are still stellar. One of my favorite games of the year!

Great multi-player game!

Strengths: Multi-player is awesome, excellent variety of weapons & vehicles.

Weakness: Couldn't run it on my brand-new Gateway laptop (which is not a barebones model).

The multi-player emphasizes coop amongst team members to succeed, which is a lot of fun and very addictive (and you need a mic to be able to talk to other players). This did not run on my new laptop, but does just fine on my desktop computer with a decent video card.

Fun game

Strengths: Able to build defenses, destroy and repair bridges, fun!

Weakness: None.

I fully enjoy playing this game. I must say, that it is not the best I have seen, but it is still fun to play and great to play at LAN parties. I would recommend this to anyone who likes the Enemy Territory games or wanted to try a new FPS game.

Solid Class Based Game

Strengths: Good variety with the classes. Updating objectives. Decent single player bots.

Weakness: Dull green/brown color pallet

This is a class based primarily multiplayer game. The game has passable bots (which is hard to come by with this type of game). The missions are relatively fast and fluid. The classes offer a wide variety of experiences which should add to the longevity of the game. The graphics/sound are very good except it would have been nice to have more variety in the colors. The game ran well on my Mid/High end PC. In the end, I really am enjoying this game and expect to be playing it for some time.

This is an awesome game!

Strengths: Unique weapons,Fantastic graphics,Great vehicles, including the Cyclops

Weakness: No XP save - When a campaign ends (3 games), everyone goes back to xero and loses all rewards, special skills, etc. Team play - which can suck when people don't know how to play as a team

This is an awesome game but it doesn't have anything to do with Enemy Territory or Quake. There are no Nazis, for instance. ETQW has its own characters, weapons, storyline, etc. No XP save is a major flaw in game design.

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars

id Software’s Quake series has long been a pace-setting series in the FPS genre, having begun over a decade ago, while Splash Damage’s free upgrade to Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, provided some of the most compelling multiplayer shootouts back in 2003. Now the two series are combining for the sequel to W:ET for Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. Taking the Enemy...
