I Wanna Rock

Strengths: Great game play. Songs are great for this version. Good on-line gaming capability makes the game fun when you can't find a second person to play with.

Weakness: Needs more of a tutorial for those that are new to guitar hero. The level of difficulty is good but does not help to master the fret buttons To get 2nd guitar you have to buy the game bundle twice

Highly recommended for all wii fans. The concept is awesome. In order to unlock most of the songs and extras you would probably need a second person, seeing as I've reached a dead in on unlocking most things on the game. I just need a second guitarist to play along with me. I'm glad they decided to bring the game to wii. Maybe now there can be others added to this platform.

GH Wii

Strengths: Guitar Hero

Weakness: no DLC/mono sound

Guitar Hero has finally arrived on the Wii, and it's as fun as one would expect. Activision has delayed downloadable content until WiiWare is launched on the system, and the first print of discs had mono sound for some reason, but if you don't care or don't notice these issues, go ahead and buy the game everyone else is enjoying without you. Heck, buy 2 since the $60 standalone guitar is highway robbery.

Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Bundle (Wii)

Strengths: Wireless Great rock songs Battle Mode

Weakness: None that I can see. Everything seems to be of good construction.

This title is a great addition for the Wii. The wireless guitar really makes this game, as now you can roam around and rock. The remote fits right in the guitar which seems to work without any issues. I really enjoy the Battle mode which can be quite challenging on the more difficult letters. The best thing is truly anyone can play this game while it can be a challenge if that is what you are looking for.

Guitar Hero III for Wii

Strengths: Wireless guitar through use of wiimote, sounds from missed notes played from wiimote, online play

Weakness: Kindof a pain to pop the wiimote in and out of the guiar

This is my first Guitar Hero game and it is awesome. The song list is great. The online play is cool, but the few times I have tried to play I've had a little trouble trying to find matches. This game provides endless entertainment. The customizable faceplates are cool, but I have been unsuccessful in find many for the wii just yet. If you want to buy a second guitar, you will have to wait until January or purchase a second game.

Rock & Rock

Strengths: very good game

Weakness: not at all

I really love this game. Like previous Guitar Hero games, channel your inner rocker to an eclectic mix of songs. Use a plastic and wireless Les Paul look-a-like, hitting the multicolored fret buttons in conjunction to the similar colored notes flowing down a fret-board onscreen. Meanwhile, your chosen rocker performs in front of a captive and rowdy audience. Sparks fly from fingers, police fire tear gas into the crowd and a mechanic knight chops off a robot dragon's head. It's an insane, over-the-top experience. It's amazing. Rock & Rock.

Well all in all get ready to get seriously rocked! GH3 surely delivers! its pure adrenaline, or at least I hope it would be, I haven't really played it, but I hope it's good or I wont think of buying it again.

I have "Slow Ride" stuck in my head now 'cuz I've...

Strengths: Sweet soundtrack (everything from Foghat to Metallica); good tutorial (lets you master different sections of songs). Never gets old (just tiring to play after a few hours...kinda like real guitar).

Weakness: If you aren't used to playing music or listening to music from start to finish, it could get monotonous, but that's more personal preference. Guitar is difficult to use for a lefty, though possible.

After seeing all the fun that can be had playing Guitar Hero on the Playstation, Wii users finally get their chance and thankfully they hit the mark with GH3. With lots of opportunity to master songs from the 70's, 80's, 90's and 2000's, this game is good for both the young and old. It's tutorial allows you to slow down any song you wish to more easily master the notes and you can do so with any song on the playlist. All songs are full-length and songs that aren't from the original band are well-done and sound very close to the original. A left-handed person may want to deal with playing right-handed as the guitar is designed that way or else you can switch the setting, play left-handed and just deal with the whammy bar being slightly in the way. Over all, a sweet game. Can't wait for future versions!

Wii Guitar Hero III

Strengths: Rumble & sound through wiimote.

Weakness: No stereo sound. No downloadable content yet. No extra guitar available yet.

Guitar Hero III is a flatout, great party game. For the Wii version, you insert the wiimote inside the guitar controller, so you'll actually hear a short squealing noise when a wrong note is hit. If you own an XBox 360 or PS3, I recommend shelling out the extra $10 and buying GH3 on that platform instead--the graphics are better and you can download more songs. Another issue with the Wii version is that the early shipments included a disc with only mono sound. You can send out for a replacement disc with stereo sound to Activision. If you only own a Wii, don't let these problems deter you from picking up GH3--it's still an awesome game.

It's time to rock and roll!

Strengths: Wireless guitar, great songs,

Weakness: The buttons seem a bit flimsy but thats not too bad.

I've never played the previous games in this series but this game is addictive! Instead of strings you have a bar you push corresponding to how fast the notes move. And the placement of buttons is perfect. The song list is huge, I have still to get through the basic list. Then there is the level of difficulty, as you become at ease with lower levels you can try the upper levels and the game turns out to be a whole different thing with more notes to hit!! Its like having endless gaming time!
Its really hard to put the guitar down once you start playing. The guitar is light and is easy to hold. The only bad thing I would say is that they havent come out with just the guitar attachment for the game so you have to buy another bundle if you want to rock out with someone else who doesnt own the game.
ROCK ON!!!

Easy and fun

Strengths: Works with no problems

Bought for my eleven year old daughter. She loves it and
has no problem with how to use it.I have enjoyed as well.
We had to move the wii to her room from the den because
we wanted to watch tv.

"It's a tradition to be 30 minutes late to practice"

Strengths: Realistic gameplay, moves fast, so it's not glitchy or anything.

Weakness: When battling it is very hard to shoot the lightning stuff at him

Wow, this game is extremely fun! I got it for Christmas on the Wii, and I love it! You can go really far in Career mode and there are the real songs, not the copied songs like the first two. They have the real artists preforming the songs on this one.

Wii Guitar Hero III

Strengths: The game is fun and easy to pick up, while also being highly addictive, and can provide hours of fun for anyone to play. The song selection is diverse and enjoyable.

Weakness: The game lacks movement, which is found in most wii games, so you can

In general, guitar hero 3 offers the fun of guitar, with no experience needed. The game is fun, easy to pick up, and keeps you interested for hours. However due to the game being so addictive, you might not have anything else accomplished for some time.

Guitar Hero III for Wii Review

Strengths: Wireless, easy to use

Weakness: none

Another sequel to the Guitar Hero videogame series, this time available to the Wii for the first time. It features the same interface as the previous versions following the notes on the screen like Dance Dance Revolution. The graphics are decent and the songs are great. The guitar uses the Wii controller to act wirelessly. It saves on buying additional batteries for a separate controller. The game is fun and challenging and takes time to get the perfect score. Overall another great game in the series, this time for the Wii platform.

Wii Guitar Hero 3 Review

Strengths: Huge list of song selection. Attractive characters.

Weakness: Noisy guitar controller. No stand alone guitars for sell yet. To play with friends, you would have to buy 2 bundles!

This bundle is awesome to get just to have in any Wii game collection. I haven't played any of the previous Guitar Hero games. If Guitar Hero III is anything like the previous games, I'm anticipating future Guitar Hero games. For a beginner, it wasn't really hard to learn. I played along just fine my second time at it!

There's a huge selection of rock songs and great character selections to pick from. With each level, the notes get more difficult to command. This is my only peeve with guitar hero though. As you progress in level, the guitar controller itself is really noisy. You would wonder if the guitar can handle all the game play, since guitar hero is an addictive game especially when playing with friends. The boss battles are just OK. For future guitars, I'd want a less noisy guitar and perhaps ones that are more realistic to an actual guitar.

Overall, this is a great game! Just needs a better guitar controller! Got to wait for Nintendo to come out with some stand alone guitars for this game.

Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock Bundle (Wii)

Strengths: Great gameplay. Good graphics, but the sound is more important. Song list includes tons of hits everyone knows. Guitar is high quality and works very well.

Weakness: Range of wireless is limited, but this is more of the consoles fault.

Great fun for everyone. My family has not put this thing down since we recieved it. (Adults more than kids.) Well worth it. The characters in the game are a trip and everyone will find someone to relate to. No complaints here.

Guitar Heroo III Legends of Rock

Strengths: Wireless play, rumbling guitar

Weakness: Cost

I've never played any of the previous versions of Guitar Hero, but I LOVE Guitar Hero for the Wii.
It was a bit hard to learn at firt because I'm incredibly uncoordinated, but once you get used to playing, it's hard to put down.
There's a long list of songs to play that are both fun to listen to and play. There are several levels of difficulty to make the gamer more fun or more challenging.
Guitar Hero is a great party game because it's fun to challenge your friends.
Whether playing as a group or solo, Guitar Hero for Wii is one of favorite new games!

Guitar hero 3 for the wii

Strengths: Great, amazing game.

Weakness: not at all

I never played this kind of games like guitar hero 2 before. But I got this game the day it came out, I can not wait to play. I have a lot of fun with this game. I can play it online or with my spouse. I recommended this game to the wii owners.
Stop reading, go have fun!!!!

Extremely fun game

Strengths: Many songs to choose from. Different type of video game than the norm. Appeals to a large audience of gamers.

Weakness: Not good for smaller kids and uncoordinated adults.

Being a newbie to this game, at first I found it to be very challenging. However, after just a couple of songs, you can get the hang of things and really start having fun. The music to choose from is a good mixture of classic rock, so sometimes I mess myself up trying to do my own solos from the music. My only compliant is that sometimes I can

Really fun expansion from previous Guitar Hero...

Strengths: Great song selection, including tons of bonus songs available from the store; more characters; new boss battles

Weakness: Incorporation of Wii remote into guitar (hard to put in/get out, can't use the pointing function while it's in there)

This Guitar Hero is even more fun than the earlier versions, and expands many parts of the game that have pretty much been the same from version to version. For example, while for some levels you must play a surprise encore in order to move on to the next level as always, now you may face off against guitar legends (and get the chance to buy their character in the store). There is also a co-op career mode, so if you have a friend and more than one controller, you can play as a band rather than solo. I'm really impressed with the gameplay and song selection in Guitar Hero III as well. Bottom line: this game has lived up to the hype for me.

Well Integrated

Strengths: The sound from the controller, wireless play, great looking guitar, AMAZING song library

Weakness: Kind of a pain to pop the controller in and out.

I've never owned a guitar hero game before this one, though I have played Part 2. The song library on this game is absolutely amazing: Dead Kennedys, Metallica, Bloc Party, Sex Pistols, Pearl Jam, etc.

As for the Wii, the game is well integrated with the console. My favorite part is hearing sounds from the speaker in the Wii Remote when you mess up! The black and white Gibson Les Paul looks great. The only pain is taking the remote in and out to recharge (or put new batteries in) the controller, but there is plenty of room to tuck the remote strap in the back of the guitar.

GUITAR HERO 3 WII

Strengths: Lots of new songs. Wireless guitar design is awesome.

Weakness: Guts of the guitar is the actual wiimote.

This is an awesome game. Works well for the wii because you can play the game with the wiimotes so you don't need two guitars to play two player. One bad thing is that you need to stick in a wiimote into the guitar to play, so I paid $90 bucks for a gutless guitar...

But overall its a great game with lots of new songs and unlocks available.

"Guitar Hero III" rocks the Wii

Strengths: Wii-exclusive white Gibson Les Paul guitar replica, which allows inserted Wiimote to provide sound and rumble; hours and hours of engrossing guitar play; online multiplayer works perfectly

Weakness: No downloadable songs; the Easy setting is too easy; Hard and Expert settings are so difficult that you will get hand cramps

“Legends of Rock” is the first “Guitar Hero” game for a Nintendo console, and Wii owners are in for a treat.
The sweet-looking Gibson Les Paul replica guitar has a white faceplate exclusive to the Wii version. And the Wiimote nestles into the guitar to make it wireless. Better yet, the Wiimote's speaker plays sour notes when you mess up and rumbles when you tilt the guitar to activate Star Power - the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 guitars can't do that. There’s even a knob on the guitar for moving the cursor, so you’re able to navigate the Wii Channels menu to start the game.
This rebuilt-from-scratch “Guitar Hero” sequel is the first in the series with online play, and Wii owners haven’t been left behind.
Unlike most online Wii games, the so-called Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection multiplayer works perfectly for this game, with many modes for jamming against or with online opponents.
Wanna-be rock stars can create an online profile to keep track of their progress at GuitarHero.com. After linking it to your Wii profile, the game automatically updates your personalized Web page with the songs you've played, your stats and achievements.
But it’s a big bummer that the Wii isn’t capable of downloading new songs like the other consoles.
This is the first “Guitar Hero” game with bosses – Slash of Guns N’ Roses and Velvet Revolver as well as Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave. Both recorded original tracks for head-to-head jam battles. The Sex Pistols also re-recorded “Anarchy in the U.K.” specifically for the game, as did Living Colour with “Cult of Personality.”
In fact, many of the 71 playable songs aren't covers like in past “Guitar Hero” games - they're actually great-sounding re-masters of orginal recordings. You’ll know it’s a cover when you see “made famous by.”
The game’s menus and cutscene movies have a unique, amusing art style – everything looks like a cross between coffee house indie and anime.
In the graphics department, the big knock on the Wii has been its lesser processing capabilities compared to the powerful PS3 and 360. However, in “Guitar Hero,” the graphics merely serve as a backdrop to your shredding. The series has always been about how it plays, not how it looks - which happens to be the Wii's mantra. It’s a perfect fit for Nintendo’s quirky console.

This game Rock!!!

Strengths: Easy for anyone to start playing yet challenging for days of playing. Young and old love to play

Weakness: One of the more expensive games

Been waiting for the Wii version for a long time. Once you start playing it is hard to stop. Easy to play but is a real challenge the farther along you go. Expensive but worth it for the hours of fun everyone is having. Great game for a party.

Sweet Game!!!

Strengths: This is the best Guitar Hero game yet!!! The use of the Wii-Mote is genius and creates the best wireless guitar out there.

Weakness: Very costly.

Its a very expensive game. I bought it on the first day. I can playt his game for endless hours and its still fun! I highly recommend this game because it is well worth the money.
