Wii Dancing with the StarsStrengths: Nice dance move, some good music Weakness: not very intuitive This is definitely not for everyone. It seems more girlish. I would recommend for girls 8 and over. It does require hand coordination with moves. Overall, if you are into it, it is one good form of getting your body off the couch. If follow properly, you do shake a little bit, but it has more hand movements than whole body. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Dancing with the StarsStrengths: easy to do for any age. Kids love it Weakness: instructions, missed steps Fun game for kids that love the tv show. The instructions seemed to be short though, it took me a few tries of playing it to figure out that I had to be pressing the buttons along with moving the controllers. Dancing with the wii
Strengths: Anyone can play! Fun party game!
Weakness: Some moves may take longer to master, even though it looks really simple.
Good game to play with kids. It's hilarious to watch people start out with very small moves and then wildly gesturing as the steps pick up. Young kids are more exuberant when playing. Excellent party game because it's easy and fun for everyone to play. Both the wiimote and nunchuck are used. Most steps are simply moving the controls up, down, left, and right based on arrows on the screen. There are also some special dance moves as well that require specific motions: maracas, hand jive, locomotion, mash potatos, twist, wave, and stir it up. These are really fun to watch because they are modified versions of the real dance moves. There are 9 couples. You can play alone or with another person. With a partner, you can either play competitively or together. Also, you can play either the male or female part. As you get a silver trophy as an amateur, you unlock the other couples. To trophy, you need to complete 4 dances with at least 20 points per dance from the judges. The professional level is unlocked once you get a trophy for all couples at the amateur level. To get the gold trophy as a professional, you need to complete the dances with at least 24 points. As you advance, the steps get a little faster and more complicated. The judges' comments can be skipped, especially when players suck.
