Scrapland
Killer robots? Murder, mayhem, and mass hysteria? It sounds like fun, but Scrapland fails to deliver on its promises. Top

American McGee Presents: Scrapland
Well, I got the preview copy and really enjoyed it, so I was more then fired up to get the full version. American Mcgee, the visionary game designer who brought us the nasty, nasty Alice (and I mean that in a good way) is back with his second effort, Scrapland. Scrapland
SCRAPLAND is a third person action-adventure game set in a futuristic world occupied by robotic characters. Driven by a humorous adventure narrative, the game has mechanics that combines proven GTA3 style emergent action with an immersive storyline, diversity of player actions, and complete freedom of movement through the world. Enlight Interactive Scrapland
Strengths: awesome graphic. Sci-fi street battle/race. Multiple Characters selection (shapeshift) Detail in-depth twisted storyline presented by American Mcgee Massive city limit (imagine Space GTA)
Weakness: Somewhat repetative gameplay. voice acting is not as great as expected
In my humble opinion this game has to be one of the most under-looked game for 2005. The game is AA product and potentially an AAA product. The contents and gameplay to be say true innovative and creative. Imagine a GTA with robot populated, driving space crafts and have outlaw battle and racing in the city. A Sci-fi "GTR" (yes your ship if being built by yourself). A perfect combination and demostration of robotic logic and humanities. I can't understand why a title with such great features and big name (American Mcgee presents) hasn't hit the market as it should have.
