Strengths: REALISTIC CONTROLS

Weakness: TOO REALISTIC; YOU WILL DIE EASILY BECAUSE OF YOUR MANY ENEMIES

My problem with this game is that although it tries to be as realistic as possible, this means that you’re going to have to act as if you were really flying an actual helicopter behind actual enemy lines, where there are many tanks and missile launchers to shoot you down. This means you're gonna have to do a lot of shooting and hiding and not enough fast, “in your face guns blazing” action. You'll get frustrated a lot, because if a few enemy missiles manage to hit you, it's game over.

The good thing about this game is that it has four campaigns and the stages are very large and massive. You also have access to many weapons, such as bombs, rockets, and even torpedos. In some missions, you'll also have Wing men who you can give commands to , in order to help you destroy your enemy. The controls are little tricky and take getting some use to, but once you master It, then you can start having fun with this game.

Thunder Strike

Strengths: Good initial concept

Weakness: Frustratingly difficult, long load times, more sim than shooter

Thunder Strike is a very deceiving game in that it looks as though it is going to be a fun shooter in the vein of the "Strike" games that were on the Genesis many years ago. Unfortunately, the only thing this game has in common with those classics is that it is a helicopter combat game. This game is more about helicopter simulation and the learning curve is extremely steep with very difficult controls. The combat is unbalanced and frustratingly difficult as enemies sometimes pop up out of nowhere. The fact that the control setup is so difficult does not help in combat at all. I would only recommend this game to fans of flight simulation games as this is not the shooter that I was hoping for.

Thunder Strike

Strengths: Fun

Weakness: for about 5 minutes.

I was fooled into buying this game by the name. I seen Strike in the name and I thought it was to be a remake of there classic Desert Strike and Jungle Strike games for the Sega Genisis. Boy was I wrong. This game was not made by EA, instead it was made by Eddios, one of the worst game developers in my opinion because they ruined my beloved Tomb Raider series. This game I had no fun playing. The missions are dumb, the graphics are weak and the controls are frustrating. Avoid.
