Game Party for Wii, Yippie

Strengths: Simple and easy to learn games.

Weakness: Not quite nearly enough different games.

In this game, there are no real quests or missions to solve/conquer, but it does have the appeal of quick and easy fun. The learning curve is minimal, so even people who have never played with the Wii controllers can master these games in no time. If only a few more games had been included, this package would be a must-have. Alas, it falls just a little short as far as variation, but maybe it's just making everyone hold out for Game Party 2.

Not really a party game

Strengths: Variety of games

Weakness: Games become repetitive

If you already own Carnival Games, then I don't recommend you get Game Party unless you really like air hockey and beer pong. Even then, I'm not sure I'd recommend it because beer pong is the worst game on the entire disc.

If you don't have Carnival Games, Game Party is a decent game for a child. The selection of games is the only positive I can think of for it. The games just get really repetitive and boring.

Even with a few people drinking while playing this, it was boring. (That has to say something about the entertainment value in the game).
If you can get it cheap, I say go for it just to try it. If you're paying retail price (or near it), save your money for something you'll actually use after a week.

Another great Wii title

Strengths: Ease of use, Fun from the get go!

Weakness: None

This is just another great Wii type game for the party group with lots of mini games as one would expect. Also, easy to figure and teach to new people right out of the box, which is very important for a group of people. As the title states, "Game Party" is for everyone.

Great family fun

Strengths: Easy play for all members of family, lots of fun

Weakness: Some games only 1 player

I bought this game for my son for his birthday, and the entire family loves it. My daughter is 5 and my son is 10, we all play together. The trivia is a little harder for the kids, but my husband and I love to play that game against each other when the kids are in bed. The only game that wasn't much fun for me was the ping cup - kinda hard to figure out. Darts are our favorite family game.

Game Party

Strengths: Anyone can play!

Weakness: Some games take too long to play, like Ping Cup game.

Good game for multiple players.  Nunchuk not needed for any of the games. Some of the things to unlock are different dart boards or characters to play with. Also, seasonal characters pop up in the game, like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.  Dart game is especially fun to play because the darts can bounce off the board or go over the board, depending on your aim and force.  You hold the wiimote as if throwing a real dart.  The table hockey is another quick fun game.  You get an aerial view of the game.  The longest games to play is the ping cup and shuffle board and those can get boring fast.

Game Party

Strengths: Varity, Ease in Play

Weakness: none

This is an awsome game that I always play when I have my friends over. With a varity of games everyone has a favorite. The controls are very easy to understand and the games involved in there are fun for all ages. The only probaly I have is getting the basketball to get in! My favorite game is the Skee Ball! I wouldnt recomend this to someone that plays many games alone as this gains most of the enjoyment(in my opinion) with playing against other people

We Love Game Party

Strengths: Skee Ball Game - Price

Weakness: Can't play with your own Mii - Graphics aren't that hot

My family enjoys this game! We all play "Skill Ball" (their form of Skee Ball). My 5 year old son loves the Air Hockey game and I (40 year old mom) love the Trivia game. My husband is a fan of the Darts game. The $20.00 price is just an added bonus compared to other Wii games.

We would buy this game again.

Game Party

Strengths: Good variety

Weakness: None yet

Game party does have a good variety of games for what I would call 'all ages'. Its more than 'mindless' point and shoot type games - it includes games of skill and many classic games that 'old timers' will enjoy also. There is a nice variety enough to hold everyone's interest. Good game to have available for a "Game Party" where people are new to Wii controls, etc.

Let's party

Strengths: multiplayer abilities for all the games, ability to open up different aspects of the game like game options for colors of boards and balls.

Weakness: controls, doesn't allow for you to choose your own created person or doesn't allow you to create your own person.

The game play is good although it will take some getting used to the controls for some of the games. Once controls are grasped the games become easy to master. There are a good variety of games and for the price it is a better pick over the carnival games. It great for playing with the friends and family but can become a drawn out process when just playing alone. In all I would suggest playing this when you have a lot of people over.

Fun 'Old School' type games

Strengths: Seven different games included, multiple players allowed

Weakness: Graphics aren't the greatest

Lots of fun for everyone, but adults will identify with many of the games included. Includes Darts, Table Hockey, Sill Ball, Hoop Shoot, Ping Cup, Shuffle board, and Trivia. Its a good mixture of what I would call 'old school' games - not the shoot 'em up/blow it up variety that are popular today. Good alternative set of games thats not too expensive.

Game Party

Wii and DS owners have seen a plethora of party games in the past year, but Midway has, for better or worse, squeezed one last mini-game collection in this year. Game Party is exactly what it sounds like and nothing more – which is fine for most people. On that note I’ll admit that this game is not meant for me. Just because I didn’t enjoy it, doesn’t mean a younger kid or a family...
