Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2
Dragon Ball Z is a phenomenon. The franchise has swept both Japan and America during the course of the last several years and publisher Atari has capitalized on that truth. In 2003, it released the second installment of the popular fighting series Dragon Ball Z Budokai for PlayStation 2 and in late 2004 GameCube owners received an improved port of the title. Top

Dragon Ball Z Budokai 2
It's pretty safe to say that Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 isn't trying to compete with, say, Soul Calibur 2 or Virtua Fighter 4 in terms of 3D fighting gameplay. No, it just wants to give DBZ fans what they want -- a bunch of fights starring their favorite characters from the anime. Top

Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2
It's a little hard to review this one fairly when its superior sequel is already out on another system. Top

DRAGONBALL Z
Strengths: Bright graphics, variety of moves, voice-overs are well-done
Weakness: Graphics are blocky
If you´re a DBZ fan you´ll love this game. It has a large variety of the most important characters of the history of the show; and their moves. However if you´re not DBZ fan you´ll find an decent figther game in which energy beams are much stronger than combos. There are a couple of detailed, somewhat small, arenas and a ton of unlockables. One of the best parts of this game is customizing your chracters to become the ultimate warrior. This involves collecting capsules with abilities such as increasing offensive and/or defensive capabilities and other effects. If you´re not a DBZ fan this is still an overall good game and if you are a DBZ, then purchase this game it´s one of the best DBZ games out there.
