Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: awesome lightsaber action and backgound story to the movie (helps fill in gaps). Amazing force abilities, clips from the movie, battle dooko and grevious and fight in the final battle.

Weakness: force move are difficult to master but require practice. multiplayer mode needs more work and a story line.

After beating the game i tried to increase the difficult and found that i need to learn how to used the advance force moves in combination with the lightsaber attack combos. Clips from the movie and gameplay fill in the missing gaps not shown in the movie. You should watch the movie first before play it may ruin it for you if you dont. Also their is a tournament mode which rocks because you can fight your friends. Being a avid starwars fan i really think if your into starwars this a game to get.

Rent--Don't Buy

Strengths: Realistic lightsaber battles. Excellent sound. Alternate ending.

Weakness: Incredibly short game can easily be beaten in anywhere from 5-8 hours. The upgrade system doesn't seem to effect gameplay. Player is told when/where to use the force; no independant problem solving

This is an excellent game to rent for a weekend. Gameplay becomes repetitive after awhile, but it is saved altogether by the amazing lightsaber duals and force abilities. This is the first Star Wars game where the player actually feels like a Jedi. The one-on-one battles is where the game truly excels and they provide the only real challenge of the game.
However, the game could easily be beaten across the span of a weekend. This is where my only complaint lays. There is not much replayability with this game, however it does contain an alternate final level with an alternate ending.
If you're stuck inside for a weekend, this is worth a play, however keep the hard earned $50 for a worthier purchase.

SW Episode III Game Review

Strengths: gameplay, graphics, levels, some sounds

Weakness: not enough characters, bad scripting, some gameplay

It holds you back to only use lightsabers, no Yoda except on one bonus level that is boreing.I do not recommend this product at all. :( 5-10

great lightsaber battles

Strengths: Lightsaber battles, true to star wars name

Weakness: NA

Really couldn't find anything wrong with the game unless you have a problem with the playthrough being a little short. Personally I enjoyed it immensely. As stated before, the lightsaber battles were amazing and the alternate ending was a great touch. Any fan of the new star wars trilogy will appreciate this game. If you're unsure of yourself, definately rent it and give it a shot... you won't be disappointed.

Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Amazing Graphic Display, Gameply Stay true to the Movie Story! A secret Alter ending!

Weakness: Game is Short about 10 Hr. or Less.

This is the Game related to the movie... to the last movie made in the star wars trilogy! Still many Star Wars games have disappointed me in the past. This one of the few games that lives up to the Star Wars name.
Also consider (Battle front, KOTOR & KOTOR II).

Pros: A game story that lives up to the Movie, One of the best Graphic seen on a PS2, Fun exciting Action gameplay, A suprise secret ending!

Cons: Game is just to short (can be beat within the 1st day), battle system runs dry after awhile.

Overall: 4 OUTTA 5 STARS

A decent game

Strengths: graphics and sound, lightsaber battles

Weakness: Short gameplay

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith is a decent video game. Its current $19.99 price tag can make it an easy purchase now.

The game is great in terms of graphics, lightsaber battles and sound. What's not that great is the short gameplay, which can easily be beaten in a day or two. Just do not expect some great plot or storyline out of the game, instead, play it for the lightsaber battles and you will probably enjoy it better.

SW Epside III - Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Gameplay, lightsaber battles, sound

Weakness: Short gameplay

I bought this game because the price has dropped to $19.99 which is about right for this game. Although this is a Star Wars game from LucasArts, it is nowhere near as good and popular as the Battlefront I and II. The game lacks the depth and online capability. While the graphics is nice and sound is awesome, gameplay is too short. You can literally finish the whole game in a day or two.

This game stands pretty well on its own. It is entertaining and easy to play if you need a Star Wars quick fix. Get it only if you can get it cheap.

Star Wars Epidsode III: Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: You can purchase upgrades

Weakness: You have to beat the game as a single player before you can play with two players.

This game is being reviewed by the user (my 9 year old son). The game is easy to get the hang of. You can fight people in the game like they did in the movie. There are movie clips in the game. The graphics are okay, not the best there is to offer. But are on par with graphics for that year. The game is fun and exciting and best for kids ages 6-13.

SW Episode III review

Strengths: My children enjoyed the different views of the game that adds an additional excitement.

Weakness: None.

My children first rented the game and really enjoyed. They have enjoyed it so much that they wanted to buy it and show off to their friends. I would suggest renting it first to see if your children like it.

Star Wars Episode III Revenge of the Sith

Strengths: Fun lightsaber action, good graphics

Weakness: VERY short

Star Wars titles have been very hit or miss over the years. The Star Wars Episode III game, released when the movie came out, however, is neither great nor bad. It is a fairly fun romp through several scenes from the movie. You get to play as Anakin or Obi-Wan in a button mashing combo-fest of slicing up droids and the occasional boss battle (Dooku, Grevious, etc).

However, the fighting gets fairly stale after a while and the game is extremely short. You can open up a few bonus missions at various points, but these are short as well (Darth Vader vs Obi-Wan in the Death Star, Yoda vs. Clones, a few others).

There is a fairly fun two-player deathmatch where you can use any character unlocked so far in the game. It is great fun to play as General Grevious and pound on any other character with your 2 (or 4) lightsabers. The Jedi vs Sith (or Jedi) fighting is much better in this game than in the recently released Star Wars Battlefront II - but of course without the online component that is critical to the success of that title.

The graphics, music, sound effects are excellent, as they usually are in Star Wars games. The short play and relatively limited fighting styles keeps this game from being one of the better Star Wars games though.
