NHL08 Great GameStrengths: Great graphics, easy to learn buttons Weakness: None My family loves this game - we have almost all the NHL games from EA Sports for the last couple years, and every year they get better and better. Would recommend to anyone who loves hockey games. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

NHL 08 (PS2)Strengths: More realistic than in years past Weakness: Can be delays in game control This game is of medium difficulty - Best for ages 10 and up. The graphics are decent. However, when playing on a large screen there was a delay when you tried to change players. Overall the game is good and worth the price. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Every September the National Hockey League demonstrates the beauty and finesse that is formed when 12 men enter the rink together. NHL 08, the season update to EA's long-running hockey series, is vying for that magic and beauty, trying to capture the essence of the greatest... Top

Strap On Those Skates
Strengths: I Liked EA's Attention To Detail From The Sticks, The Players Likeness, And The Body-Language Reactions Of The Coaches On The Bench. The Game Played Flawless With Smooth Transitions In Frame Rate.
Weakness: I Played In The Broadcast View Mode. During Some Face-Off's The Ref's Body Is In the Way. I've Played 2K Sports NHL 2K8 Which Has A Picture In Picture During Face-Off's To Solve This Problem.
Overall I Really Enjoyed The Game's Flow Of Gameplay And EA's Attention To Detail, (The Arena's Interiors And The Home Fans). The Custom-Tweaks To Controller And Game Made Gameplay More Comfortable. The Play-By-Play Commentary Kept Up With The Game's Speed. Thanks EA!!!
