A grab bag of Classic arcade games, with few gems...Strengths: These are flawless versions of the arcade games, with lots of bonus extras/options. The unlockable bonuses/goals give you something to play towards, and extends the life of the games. Weakness: Many of the games are not so good. Lots of filler titles. SSF2T has an absurdly difficult CPU, making it only really playable for the average player in versus. Capcom Classics Collection volume 2 follows up the Capcom Arcade library with some classics like SSF2T, Captain Commando, and 1941, but also with some real stinkers like Quiz and Dragons and Magic Twins. I really, really like the achievements-ish in-game bonus goals. That's really the best thing to add to these old games to give them some longevity. The bonus material is interesting as well, but a few videos or interviews with staff would have been nice to have. It's a great collection for people who like bad English translations, classic arcade games, or capcom in general. You might learn where some of those strange support characters come from in Marvel vs Capcom! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Classic Capcom Arcade Games on 1 discStrengths: Good emulation of over 15 games Weakness: Many of games feel dated While Capcom Classics vol. 2 doesn't have as impressive a game lineup as the first Capcom Classics Collection, it still contains a very decent selection. The most noteworthy games are the original Street Fighter, Strider, 1941, and Magic Sword. The games are emulated very well with no noticeable glitches. Unfortunately, many of the games feel a bit dated by today's standards. So unless there's a nostalgia factor, I'd recommend holding off on picking up this collection unless you find it fairly cheap. One of the great arcade compilations.Strengths: 17 awesome games Weakness: 3 meh ones This is probably the ultimate collection of Capcom arcade games. Most of the games, like Knights of the Round, Block Block, Black Tiger, and Strider are prime examples of Capcom's arcade division at its prime because they have many of the elements that make their type of game fun, including interesting enemies and levels. Capcom Classics Collection Vol. 2 once again offers a big bundle of nostalgia on a single disc. Not to be confused with a Street Fighter collection, Mega Man collection, or Puzzle collection, Classics Collection 2 compiles a variety of Capcom’s greatest arcade games onto your Playstation 2 from way back in the day. Great Collection of Capcom Arcade classics
Strengths: Over 20 classic games on one disc. This is the only place to play some of these obscure arcade titles that have never been ported before to home console.
Weakness: No online capabilities, but who cares? There's really not much else to complain about.
Buy this collection of great games now. With games like Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Strider, Knights of the round, and many more Arcade hits you won't be disappointed.
