fun destructive game

Strengths: fun entertaining

Weakness: not much to it

This is a mindless, but fun game where you are a monster and go around distroying buildings and such. It could be a bit more adapted to the wii and the wii controller, but it's just like the classic version -- you just go around destroying building, vehicles, and the like. It's fun and entertaining, but don't expect a whole lot of strategy or thought when playing it.

Decent update but without much depth...

Strengths: Great monsters, good fun in multiplayer.

Weakness: Repetitive gameplay, boring in single player, Wiimote controls seem tacked-on.

Rampage: Total Destruction shares the problem that many updates of classic games do, a lack of depth that reflects its quarter-munching roots. While the game manages to be enjoyable, especially in its multiplayer game modes, the single player game is very repetitive and gets old quickly. The monster design and the number of cities adds some variety, but the Wii-mote controls do little to enhance the game, and seem loathsome and tacked-on. If you get a deal on it, it's probably worth it, particularly if you play games with others, but at full price, there are better games to play on the Wii.

Mindless fun

Strengths: Great graphics

Weakness: Rather repetitive

Stomping on buildings and kicking cars is fun but gets a little boring after a while. The graphics are interesting and fun. A good game for the kids. The Wii controller works well with this game.

Classic game with some new controls

Strengths: fun multiplayer game

Weakness: can't really play by yourself and have fun

The game is a classic and is yet another one of the revamped games that utilizes the wii's unique controls. The gameplay is simple and the story line is non-existent. But if you enjoyed this game in the past you'll definitely have fun crushing buildings, tanks, eating people and beating up friends.

Kids may find it fun for a little while

Strengths: Easy to pick up and learn the game.

Weakness: Gets boring after 30 minutes. You keep destroying buildings. Only the scenery change after each level.

It's fun smashing buildings, throwing cars around and eating people. It is same as the arcade game. The levels doesn't seem to get any harder. It is hard to play with more than 2 people. You will end up hitting and hurting each other.

Rampage: Total Destruction

The Rampage franchise has been around for a very long time now. I remember seeing this game in the arcades when I was very little, and as I grew up I saw the Rampage on various systems and had a blast playing it with my friends. Now that the Nintendo Wii has been released the developers at Midway have released Rampage: Total Destruction with Wii centric controls. Does this game stand the test of...
