Sonic Advance 3Strengths: great sonic gameplay Weakness: weird story This game is the best sonic available for game boy advance, and this is one of the best new sonics to date. This game has sonic and tails and knuckles and amy. I bought this game for my little brother and I play it more than he does. This game is very addictive. Get it, it is worth it. 50% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

One of the best recent Sonic gamesStrengths: Fast action, multiple characters with unique moves Weakness: Still the same sonic The GBA Sonic Advance titles have been some of the only good Sonic titles released since the Genesis days. All 3 of them are good and this one isn't much different. You can choose from 4 different characters and they all have unique moves that affect the environment in different ways, which is always a good addition to a game. The fast classic Sonic action that everybody loves from the Genesis days is still there, but some of the same faults are still there as well. The developers still love to stick spikes and drops where you'll have to end up memorizing to avoid. The difficulty is good enough that you don't have to worry about a game over though. All in all still a great sonic game and one of the best GBA games overall. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Go Go Sonic!Strengths: Graphics and music are on par with most Konami or Nintendo games Weakness: Hasn't really changed much. Do you like the old school 2D Sonic from back then? You do? Then this one won't dissapoint. If you've played the other two before it, it's pretty much the same with minor improvments. If you can find this cheap, then I definately recommend you to pick it up! Can 2D Sonic Games Advance Game After Game?Strengths: Multiplayer Modes Weakness: Nothing Sonic Advance 3 is a 2D Side-Scroller like any other 2D Sonic game since Sonic The Hedgehog came out on Genesis with it's fast paced running though obstacles such as loops & twist and all sorts of things but also does add in some new things to help keep the fast pace action fun. When you first play Sonice Advance 3 you only start out with 2 characters and you can pick one character to play as and the other one will be controlled the the Computer or if you have a link cable it can be controlled by a second player. You can work together with the second player to do a tag up type move and with 5 characters total to play as (3 of them being unlockable) you can have a total of 20 different combinations of teams to play as. Along with the cooperative mode they also have a collect the chao mode where up to four players can go around levels hunting for chao to pick up in an effort to find the most to win, they also have a race mode where up to four players can race though levels in order to be the first one to finish. Sonic Advance 3Strengths: Graphics were outstanding. Gameplay is awesome as usual. Sonic games are always great. Weakness: None I loved this game. The graphics are among the best for the Game Boy Advance system. The tag team feature is pretty cool. It changes with the different combination of characters. You play as 1 of 4 characters and choose your helper. The gameplay is quick and fluid ( as all Sega Sonic games ). I give this 2 high thumbs up. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Sonic Advance 3 for Game Boy AdvanceStrengths: Loved the game. Lots of action, changes and challenges. Weakness: None that I could think of so far. If you love Sonic the Hedgehog, you will love this GameBoy Advance game. The latest in these action packed games. Lots of changes, action and challenges. Many different combination moves. This one is sure to be one of my favorites. I still have so much more I have yet to explore. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

The latest Sonic game lets you team up with another character and another player, but the series is starting to lose steam. Top

Sonic Advance 3
Sonic Advance 1 and 2 were both solid games, but the latter came out a little too quickly and was a more of the same cash-in sequel. Sega and Dimps took a little more time making the third installment, and the results are ... mixed. While developing a Sonic game longer allows for better, more involved levels designs, it also loads you down with more unnecessary characters, apparently. Top

Sonic Advance 3
Times change, people change and so does technology itself. While the world keeps evolving there are still certain things you can count on remaining the same and one of them just happens to be that Sonic the Hedgehog still feels right at home on the palm of your hand. Sonic Advance 3 doesn’t push the envelope in terms of bringing something new to the Game Boy Advance but then again sometimes... Top

Sonic Advance 3
Strengths: Great graphics and sound, fast-paced action gameplay, great teamwork elements, great multiplayer, lots of replay value
Weakness: None apparent
Sonic Advance 3 is the third Sonic game to hit the GBA.
With this game, the graphics and sound have been further improved, making it look and sound even better. The game worlds are even better than before, with plenty of furiously fast action in single player, as well as multiplayer. There are new teamwork elements, where there's a second character that helps collect rings and provide help.
The multiplayer is further refined, one type using the single GBA and another type using the link cable, as well as a battle mode.
Sonic fans should pick this game up without reservation, as well as any platform fans.
