Battlefield 2: Modern Combat

Strengths: good graphics, multiplayer

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a pretty decent and enjoyable modern day shooter. There are about 20 missions in the single player campaign. You can play on line with up to 24 players and there is 16 playable maps. There is alot of differnet type of vehicles you can control. The game has pretty good graphics and sound. Overall Battlefield 2: MC is a pretty good game.

Battlefield 2: Fun, but frustrating...

Strengths: Great Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound. 20 Fun Singleplayer Missions Hotswapping feature 24 player online battles

Weakness: Hard to complete missions Can be frustrating at times

Battlefield 2 for the XBox 360 is a fun, but frustrating game. It features absolutely great Dolby Digital 5.1 Sound. The single player missions are fun but are sometimes hard to beat, which may take several times over to complete. Battlefield 2 features "Hot-swapping" in single player mode. Hot-swapping allows the player to "swap" between soldiers with a single push of a button. On-line play is where this game shines. It plays more as a war-game on-line, where one is playing with and against human players. Up to 24 players can play on-line on 16 different maps. 4 Stars!

Battlefield 2

Strengths: Not WWII game and good multiplayer game

Weakness: Two years old game already...

This is a fun game. Particularly it is very good for multiplayer with Xbox live. 24 people can enjoy this game together. Single player is not so bad. For my part, the best thing is that, like COD 4, it is a "MODERN" war game, not "WWII" one. Overall it is a decent game with a bargain price now.

Battle Field 2 Modern Combat

Strengths: graphics, xbox live support, strong story

Weakness: game AI

This console version of Battlefield two is highly entertaining. While the offline version has a bit to leave desired, the true gen here is when you go online on XBOX Live. Live supports up to 24 players so that you can truly feel like you are in battle. A great highlight of the game is that even though this is a shooter, you can also drive vehicles around the battlefield. It enables you to mix up your missions instead of constantly battling. This is something that is not present in a lot of other shooters of its type.

Pretty Good

Strengths: Excellent Graphics

Weakness: None

This is fun a X-Box 360 game. The single player mode is decent. But the fun is in the online multiplayer mode. It's fast and still has good amount of people willing to play it. And a plus in my book, it's NOT a World War 2 game.

Battlefield 2

Strengths: good graphics and great online multiplayer gaming

Weakness: n/a

The game is a great game and is great on live. The game now is running for about 30 dollars and it is worth ever penny. It is also one of the must used games on live, I believe it is number 2. The on-line experience is so different then playing it normally. I strongly recommend this game. The nice thing about this game is the fact that you can use different vehicles and weapons. Also that you can be driver or shooter. Just go out and buy it!

Not the PC Game

Strengths: Graphics

Weakness: AI

If you are expecting the same game as the PC version, you will be disappointed. The console version is very entertaining though. The graphics for the 360 version are absolutely beautiful and gameplay is good. You will need to memorize a lot to complete missions and some of the audio is very annoying. The AI for the allies is frustrating. Xbox Live supports 24 players which is one of the biggest aspects of the game. The game is dropping in price, so now is a good time to pick it up.

Battlefield 2

Strengths: Multi-player mode

Weakness: Sometimes hard to spot enemy

Battlefield 2 is a tactic first person shooter. The interesting part is that you can drive vehicles (e.g. tanks). It lacks a cover system such as those found in Gears of War, so you have to hind really well. My problem is that people can shoot you from far far away, so you don't even know who is shooting you. Most of times the enemy is just too small, so you have to keep looking for the red dots in the mini map all the time. Maybe I'm just not a tactic shooter.

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat (Xbox 360)

Strengths: Great Graphics Realistic Sound Effects Solid Multiplayer

Weakness: Unforgiving difficulty in Single Player. Shallow single player experience.

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat is a FPS for the Xbox 360. It is built on the popular Battlefield series of games. The game features multiple modes. The single player experience, while fine from afar, really is quite shallow once you get into it. The computer AI is often dumb and predictable. Oftentimes you'll progress a level quite easily, only to then have to repeat another level over and over because of the ramp up in difficulty.

This game really shines in multiplayer. It is the essential multiplayer war experience on Xbox Live right now. If you get in a game with people who have been playing for a while, expect many long hours of fun. This game was meant to be multiplayer and it truly shines here. No lag issues or major issues to report.

Awesome Online Gameplay

Strengths: Online gameplay. Awesome graphics. Detailed Maps/Levels.

Weakness: Single player mode. Xbox live is a neccessity to get the most out of this game.

I missed out on Battlefield 1942, so this is my first exposure to Battlefield's gameplay. I am very impressed. The level maps are very detailed. You can hop into and use almost anything you see on the screen (jeeps, tanks, etc). The online game play rocks! If you're looking for a fun FPS and some awesome online game play, definetly check out this title!
