fun but too bad graphic qualityStrengths: fun to play Weakness: Compared to PC version of this game, its graphic quality is unacceptable. I love this game, one of the best shooter game I have played. But don't have this one, instead you'd rather pick up either XBox360 or PC version. Its graphic situation is so bad that I quit playing this one after doing it only twice. Advanced WarfighterStrengths: More Ghost Recon fun Weakness: Poor graphics Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter (GRAW) is yet another in the Ghost Recon series. Following along the same lines, your mission is kill everyone in sight (except your teammates). Overall, it still holds the successful Ghost Recon formula, but the graphics on this title are just sub-par. There were several times that I couldn't tell what I was shooting at from a distance. There are plenty of frame-rate issues as well. If, and I do mean IF, you can look past the graphical issues, you do have a successful title which can lead to plenty of hours of fun and exciting gameplay. But unfortunately, I was not able to look past the issues and ended up putting it on the shelf, never to be played again. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

GRAW
Strengths: Good online play
Weakness: Controls and graphics
Unlike the majority of the other Ghost Recon titles, Advanced Warfighter just doesn't do a good job of translating into a worthwhile game. I mean, the game has it's fun moments, but it really isn't all that difficult or captivating. The enemy AI is pretty bad, your team AI is excellent. On top of that, the controls are difficult to handle and master. Honestly, this just feels like a complete flop. Now, take this same game that was originally made for the Xbox360 and you get a much better title. The 360 version was done quite well. But after it had been ported to Xbox, and then ported again to PS2, it just went through so many changes that it no longer functioned like it was originally intended to.
If the only system you have available is the PS2, do yourself a favor and pick up a different Ghost Recon title. If you have the Xbox or 360 available to you, definitely pick it up for one of those systems.
