NFL Street for GCStrengths: Cool NFL Street game. Weakness: None. Really fun game. Everyone compares it to NFL Blitz, which is slightly better. 7 on 7 street football with current and past NFL players, out of uniform. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

NFL StreetStrengths: Cool graphics and concept Weakness: Doesn't end up being as much fun as Blitz This game is EA's answer to the successful NFL Blitz serries. In the end, it doesn't live up to the fun to be had in the Blitz games. One thing I really did enjoy is that the players are on the Street(hense the title) and the players are not in their uniforms and you can actually see what the players look like. Overall this is a fun game, but I don't think it is as good as the Blitz serries. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

NFL Street
NFL Street did exactly what Midway's NFL Blitz should have done - take it to the streets, and take it big. Big players (300 NFL pros), big music, big visuals, and awesome 7-on-7 gameplay. The only thing keeping this from being THE baddest street game out there is the unbalanced single player, or playa, mode. One slight bobble aside, NFL Street is quite possibly the most fun football game there... Top

NFL Street
Football has become too big for its own good. The NFL is an unstoppable juggernaut that transcends the rule of society and law. It even has the power to reschedule Friends. So NFL Street is a welcome breath of fresh air, stripping the pads and salaries to put players back where they came from, with a ball in hand and no flags to stop a messy play. NBA Street is still flashier, but this first... Top

NFL Street
Part asphalt, all attitude, and a whole lot of fun, NFL Street takes the pigskin back to the playground for a game with so much showboating, you'd think it was designed by Chad Johnson. It's old school, down and dirty 7-on-7 football where every player plays both sides of the ball, and it's up to you if you want to play superstars like Michael Vick at his natural quarterback spot, run him out... EA's NFL Street may interest fans tired of the...
Strengths: No-holds-barred football in public places, officially NFL licensed, plenty of unlockables, reasonable alternative to other football games
Weakness: No online support, exaggerated/freakish player likenesses, time-consuming create-a-team mode, cheap A.I.
Traditional football games can become repetitive with just a roster update and a few mode changes from year to year, so it's nice to see EA try something new with the NFL Street series. Instead of real professional football, you can try your hand at using real NFL teams and players in real world situations (beach, alley, etc.)
You get seven players to work with but no helmets or pads to protect them or stopwatches to limit them. It's not quite Outlaw Football, but NFL Street definitely takes the NFL series to places it's never been before. Using NFL and player likenesses, EA probably couldn't go too "ghetto" with the franchise during its initial outing, but it would have been nice to see a rougher edge to the street-oriented game play.
Traditional football fans will probably like what NFL Street has to offer, but players looking for a harder-edged football game won't find it here. The "street" label is pretty much there in name only, so don't go in thinking this will be anything more than a more community-centric outing of EA's traditionally family-friendly football games.
