Not as Xtreme as I'd like it to beStrengths: Good racer, something different than other racers. Weakness: Uninspired graphics, awful music, repetitive gameplay Unlike track-based racing games, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 has you in a series of street races with singe opponents on sections of highway. The point of the game is to win races, so you can upgrade your car, so you can win more races. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3Strengths: Tons of cars and uprgrades, Same TXR style game play for fans. Weakness: Graphics look pretty dated, can get a little boring racing the same way over and over. I've always loved the TXR series, and I'm not sure why. You pull up behind a rival car, flash your lights and the race begins. If you win you get cash if not you try again. This happens over and over until the end of the game. Spend the money you make on new cars, turbo kits, body kits and such. Also after putting so many miles on you car you can actually get an engine swap, wich will drastically bring your cars performance up depending on wich engine you choose. Crave's Tokyo Xtreme Racer let you joyride over a few miles of Japanese highway, challenging -- and being challenged by -- members of rival racing teams. Developed by Genki, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 once again sends you to back to the eternal... Top

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 (ps2)
The Tokyo Xtreme series has carved itself a nice little niche in the videogame racing world. It doesn't try to do a lot like the massive Gran Turismo games, but it has a few distinct elements that separate it from the rest. Developer Genki has stayed the course with Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3, fine-tuning the gameplay and expanding the playable highways to three Japanese cities instead of just Tokyo.... Top

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3
Once upon a time, a RX7 cruised the local streets. What a fine machine – handling and acceleration were excellent. Of course, owning such a car, there is the temptation to see how fast it can really go. Rubber through four gears, a smooth and effortless drive at 110 miles an hour – what a blast! Move into the present – the streets of Tokyo and and a little course call Shibaura Yokohane Out... Top

Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3
In 2001, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero gave players the opportunity to tear up the highways of Tokyo. Now two years later, Tokyo Xtreme Racer 3 adds the highways of Yokohama, Osaka and Nagoya, taking total road length to a monster 200 miles. All of it accurately modeled to look and feel just like modern Japan. For the first time in the series' history, TXR3 uses real cars licensed from Japanese, North... Top

Strengths: decent graphics, and realism
A decent racer which has over 15 different licensed vehicles to choose from. They recreated over 200 miles of roads in Japan. There are alot of rivals to compete with. There is alot of options to fine tune your car.
