FORD RACING 2 XBStrengths: Graphics and Physics Weakness: Repetitive This game was hot at first. The cars are great, the graphics are there. The physics are spectacular. At first you will have an absolute blast with this game. Then you will feel my pain. It is incredibly repetitive, and BORING. Game was fun at first though...Lots of fun. A Good Budget Priced Game?
Strengths: Good framerate, decent graphics, able to drive over lava!, Lots of challenges, Xbox live support, Custom soundtrack support.
Weakness: Mediocre sound effects, only two camera views, bad soundtrack, almost too easy at times.
So this is the 2nd title in the Ford Racing series and it is much improved sequel. Challenge mode will be were you spend most of the time unlocking all the different Ford vehicles. Challenge mode does have 8 different challenges this time, but still kind of feels repetitive at times. The tracks graphically are nice and varied at times. What can you expect from a budget title anyway? The games difficulty is fairly easy and you can beat the game in a couple of days. I hoped that there would be shortcuts or some big jumps in the game, but sadly no such thing. Control was pretty basic and it worked.
I give it a 3 out of 5. A must buy for the racing fan who wants to have all the racing games or buy it just because its really cheap.
