Time Crisis 3 GunCon Fun For The Whole FamilyStrengths: Extra stuff added from the arcade version, New weapon system Weakness: Nothing other than being short Time Crisis 3 is a port of the arcade game by the same name and as always with Time Crisis console system ports you can use a GunCon or GunCon2 to get as close to the arcade experience at home as possible on a Playstation 2. When playing Time Crisis 3 the main thing that sets it apart from other arcade gun games is that you can duck to avoid shots being fired at you. The one new idea added to Time Crisis 3 is how you have afew weapsons that you can use & switch between which can be helpful at times. An easy example would be using the Granade Launcher to take care of some of the harder enemies. Also as with most arcade to home ports they added some extra modes to help give the game some replay after you play though the regular arcade mode. I would highly recommend Time Crisis 3 to anyone who is a fan of arcade gun games. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Time Crisis 3Strengths: Fun shootum up game. Awesome gun. There is more than just one gun there are many to choose from. It is cool when you shoot someone and they blow pack depending on how close you are. Weakness: Very short. Ok graphics. They could have made the people look more realistic. There is like 4 different characters that you see throughout the whole game, plus bosses. I would recommend it if you are looking for a cool shooting game. It is a fun game I have now all three Time Crisis games and if they come out with more I will probably buy those also. 0% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? .Strengths: EXCELLENT GRAPHICS, GREAT ACTION Weakness: VERY SHORT Of all the gun games in the PS/2, I believe that this is the best one in terms of graphics and game play. What makes this game different from the others is that you have the ability to duck and take cover in order to avoid the many enemies’ bullets. You have a few different guns to choose from to aid you in your mission, including a shotgun, machine gun, and even a rocket launcher. This game is very short and you will finish it quickly. Luckily, there's another game you could play, in which you play as a sniper that fights throughout all different parts of the island. My only complaint with this otherwise excellent game is that when you want to play with two players and two light guns, the game will cut the screen size in half, basically giving you two small screens instead of one big one like in the arcade version. This thus makes it more difficult to see your enemies and dodge their bullets, since everything is made much smaller. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Great lightgun shooterStrengths: Very fun, addicting game. Much cheaper to play at home than in arcade and uses the Guncon perfectly. Weakness: Actual game is short, but you will have to play it a lot to actually beat it. Although the actual length of the game is not very long, you will be playing through it a few times to get good enough to actually complete it. There are a variety of different guns you can use from a pistol to rocket launcher. The shotgun and maching gun are fun too. There are also several different types of enemies with different attack patterns and some challenging bosses. There is an unlockable mode in which you also get a sniper rifle which is quite fun as well. You will definitely get your money's worth on this game with all of its different modes and the graphics look great too! Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Time Crisis 3
"Here they come." "Five, maybe?" "No, I’d say seven." The patrol boat pulls alongside the fishing boat. "What are you doing here!" demands a soldier in a black uniform. "This is a restricted area." The two young men dive into the cabin of the boat, ignoring the warnings to stop. The soldiers pursue, but the cabin is empty - well, except for the ticking bomb that counts down to ‘Bye." As the... Time Crisis 3 (ps2)
Namco returns with the vengeance and furious anger of the Time Crisis series. Time Crisis 3 arrives with plenty more of the duck-and-shoot action that fans have been waiting for. If you've been hankering for a fantastic shooting game to liven up your day, this is the one for you. Everyone else might as well stop reading now. Top

Time Crisis 3
Strengths: Great graphics and action, gun selection system, hide/reload system adds great dynamic
Weakness: could be longer (couldn't all shooters?)
Time Crisis 3 is one of the best shooting games out there, and might even be the best of them all. Featuring the trademark "duck and reload" system implemented since the first (and groundbreaking) Time Crisis, TC3 innovates by adding a new gun selection system. Rather than having a hand gun with infinite ammo (though you reload rounds), you may acquire a grenade launcher or shotgun for example. Each weapon can be switched to in hiding/reloading stance by pulling the trigger, and when you emerge, it's equipped. These specialty weapons have limited ammo, however, and must be used with good judgment. The shotgun, for example, is good for large groups or large bosses (it has a spread shot: several "bullets" appear in once shot).
Although TC3 is longer than it's predecessors, it is still, in a world of adventure games and RPG's, considerably short. Still one must remember it was created to be, and remains an arcade game, and must therefore be loaded with action and yet able to be beaten in one sitting. Nevertheless, TC3 packs in stellar, hollywood-esque action and will not disappoint in delivering adrenaline pumping madness. There are added modes that allow you play additional "bonus" missions, during which you get to enjoy some sniping (oh the joy), but these are still just bonus materials, and don't really stand alone as major gaming outlets, but are fun diversions from the main game, and are welcome additions anyway.
If you enjoy light-gun games and are looking for the right one, don't look further. This one delivers best in pretty much every area, and with the duck/reload feature (rather than simply being locked on "rails" and reloading by shooting offscreen) TC3 scores for both gameplay and pure gaming innovation.
