Finally a decent Simpsons game!Strengths: Lots of fun references to the show. Weakness: Driving control is subpar. I haven't played a Simpsons game since Bart Vs The Space Mutants for the NES years ago. Apparently, I haven't missed much. Hit and Run, however, is a good game, with an excellent sandbox style of play and the fun of exploring Springfield and meeting its various residents. The play control when driving is somewhat inadequate, but the Simpsons fans will not be disappointed by this one. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

SimpsonsStrengths: Great game! Plenty to do, or explore. Side Missions, and the whole Simpsons franchise around town. Weakness: Nothing really I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Being a fan of the Simpsons definitely helped. If you are not a fan, you might not like this game as much. Either way it is a fun game, but you just won't get the references to the show that abound at every turn. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Fun for the first month then .....Strengths: Fun simpsons references, good driving physics, and fun missions. Weakness: The gameplay is the same, its alot of the same stuff repeated over and over again. There are a few types of missions, they consist mostly of chase down another car, checkpoint rases, destroy another car, and collect items in a given time limit. The various mini games are all pretty much the same, but they are fun as is most of the game. I got about 2/3 the way thru it and just couldn't finish the rest of the game because its simply too much of the same, but for those simpsons fans out there, its definatly a must play game. Buy it used, cuz renting wouldn't be enough time (unless you play 12hrs a day), but I couldn't see paying $40 for it. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? GTA meets SimpsonsStrengths: The fun of GTA without the excessive violence that the kids love, with the excessive Simpsons that the kids love Weakness: Graphics are mediocre, no multiplayer Simpsons Hit and Run is a great extension of the GTA engine to the world of the Simpsons. Creating a legitimate story combined with the fun of the Simpsons was the perfect choice. The missions are fairly short, but enjoyable, and the familiar locations you drive by regularly are nice. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Simpson's Hit & RunStrengths: Great character models and original voices, and fun, free-roaming locations that showcase places and people from the show. Weakness: Some of the racing missions are a little tough, and coins are in short supply to unlock all the extra items. This is one of my family's favorite Gamecube games. It combines an excellent TV show with a great game that highlights the best of both. You play through 7 sets of missions, each with a different character and location (though some of the characters get repeated in different locations). During each mission, you get closer to discovering an evil plot being carried out by aliens. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Simpson HnRStrengths: Graphics, Sound, Gameplay, Simpsonsness Simpsons Hit and Run is arguably the first good Simpsons game since the arcade game released by Konami in the early 90s. Simpsons Hit And Run would best be described as similar to recent incarnations of Grand Theft Auto, but in Springfield. Full of cool references to the show, great graphics and sound, Simpsons Hit and Run is a treat for fans and non-fans alike. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Simpsons Hit and RunStrengths: Great music. Very entertaining to watch someone play. Weakness: You really have to read the instructions to know what to do. This is a really entertaining game, espcially if you enjoy watching the Simpsons. My 4 year old grandson likes to just drive the cars around and run into things. My 17 year old daughter also enjoys the game she is who i bought it for. 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Grand Theft Auto: SpringfieldSaying "the best Simpsons video game" used to be kind of like saying "the best-smelling sewer" ... the franchise had consistently horrible play control and graphics, terrible game design, and no real understanding of the Simpsons characters or why anyone would want to step into their shoes. Above all, it never seemed to occur to them that, rather than just copying popular games and sticking the Simpsons into them, they should find a genre actually appropriate for the characters. 100% of readers found this review helpful. The Simpsons Hit & Run for Nintendo GameCubeStrengths: Great use of the Simpsons license, borrows heavily from Grand Theft Auto, one of a kind on gamecube Weakness: The camera doesn't always follow action as smoothly as it should Overall, this is a great game, filling a genre (Grand Theft Auto) that both the PS2 and XBox have. You get to play around in Springfield with all of the characters from the Simpsons, what could be better? If you like GTA, the Simpsons, or both, you owe it to yourself to pick this game up! 100% of readers found this review helpful. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top
