Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionA smart movie for its time. Entertaining almost all the way through with very good performances. Created a catch phrase and a movie character many use as a reference for someone they know. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionOne of my favorite movies. Gordon Gekko was a great character because he was a ruthless Alpha-Male but you never see him directly hurt anyone. I've seen the movie many times and still don't understand all the "stock market" mumbo-jumbo, but I'm better at it than without the movie. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionTHIS IS THE FINEST FILM EVER MADE. There is nothing whatsoever wrong with any part of production, and it's such a beautiful, memorable film. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Wall Street : Insider Trading EditionThis character driven drama gives insight into the inner working of Wall Street. It shows how, in an attempt to be "successful," if you're not careful you can sellout your values for money. Thus, leaving you rich and successful, but empty. This movie illustrates the indifference of the capitalist system, how it can chew people up and ruin their lives because of the intense competition. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top

Wall Street : Insider Trading Edition"Wall Street" is a really entertaining movie. Michael Douglas' performance as the greedy corporate raider Gordon Gekko really made the film, in my opinion. His ruthless manipulation of people and money seemed completely realistic, and he also looked the part, with his extravagant wardrobe, trim physique, and deep tan. I loved the scenes where he spoke memorable lines such as, "If you want a friend, get yourself a dog." and "If this guy owned a funeral parlor, no one would die." Charlie Sheen also put in a solid performance playing an ambitious Wall Street stockbroker trying to make it big. There is never a dull moment in this movie, and it's worth seeing several times for the dialogue alone. Did you find it helpful or unhelpful? Top
