Excellent Compilation of Games for a VERY Reasonable...

Strengths: Classic gameplay from the Mega Man X series.

Weakness: No extras besides the games.

If you enjoyed any of the Mega Man games of the past, you'll love this compilation of the Mega Man X games...all for one (low) price. While the games in the Mega Man X series varied in quality, it's hard to pass up such an affordable collection of games.

Seven Blue Bomber's in One

Strengths: Contains Mega Man X through Mega Man X6 plus Mega Man Battle & Chase for a total of seven games. Fun and challenging gameplay.

Weakness: Challenge might be a little high for some.

This is classic 2D action at its best. Although the challenge is really high for these games it is worth it. With seven Mega Man games on one disc this is a must have for fans.

Collection of great Mega Man games

Strengths: 7 games on 1 disc

Weakness: Does not include Megaman X 7 or 8

Mega Man X Collection includes Mega Man X 1-6 and Mega Man: Battle & Chase (a racing game never released in the US). These are some of the best Mega Man games in the series, so this is definitely a great buy for any Mega Man fan. The supplemental material on the disc isn't that interesting, but its nice to have nonetheless. Unfortunately, Capcom did not include Mega Man X 7 or 8, so it doesn't quite feel like this anthology is complete. Still, this is a great game to have alongside the previously released Mega Man Anniversary Collection. If only Capcom would release the Mega Man Collection for Gameboy...

Ups and Downs

Strengths: Some of the best Mega Man games, on one disk!

Weakness: Some of the worst Mega Man games, on one disk!

Mega Man X Collection is a pretty good compilation of Mega Man X games. While some of the six games are stellar, others miss the mark with uneven difficulty and frustrating boss battles. Still, the control scheme is a marked improvement over Mega Man Anniversary Collection, and the good games are definitely worthwhile to fans of these classics. Overall, this collection is a nice value.

The blue bomber is back

Strengths: lots of games to play, classic gameplay, it's mega man!

Weakness: difficult games

Mega Man is back with the X Collection series. These are the X games that we all loved back in the 90s. Personally I'm not a huge fan of the X series but this game is a good package for anyone not familiar and wants to play these games for cheap. Also, Capcom got the A and B button configurations fixed this game unlike the other Mega Man Collection set. This is a good game for anyone into Mega Man or is new to the series and wants to play the old classics.

GREAT GAME - HOURS OF FUN

Strengths: classic like all other mega man games

Weakness: too short

If you are a fan of the classic megaman for the NES, then you will like this game. It is just as entertaining; however, I found the game play to be a bit too short for my liking.

Decent Collection

Strengths: Good medley of classic Mega Man games

Weakness: Nothing fantastic; not as good as Mega Man Anniversary Collection

This is a classic collection of several Mega Man games. Brings back the great feeling of old style aching wrist game play. Unfortunately, it doesn't include such greats as "Mega Man Soccer", so it falls short of the previously released "Mega Man Anniversary Collection". If you can get it cheap (as I did), pick up a copy.

Mega Man X Collection

Strengths: Solid complition.

Weakness: No real extras.

This is a solid compilation of the Super Nintendo and Playstation Mega Man X titles. This set features good emulation of all included games. The thing about the set is that maybe 2 of the games are actually AAA titles. There are also very few extras to speak of. Good title to pick up on the cheap

MMX collection

Strengths: Megaman games

Weakness: none

This is a compilation of all the MegaMan X games. If you enjoyed the original Megaman X's you will love this compilation. The game is pretty cheap, so pick this one up for some old school gaming greatness.

Mega Man X Collection

Strengths: The first 6 Mega Man X games from SNES and Playstation, all perfectly emulated.

Weakness: Playing using a Gamecube controller is a bit awkward

Mega Man X Collection is simply Mega Man X - X6 gathered on one disc, with some unlockable bonuses hidden as well. The games all look very good, despite their age. The later ones (X4-X6) are the Playstation versions, and contain the added cutscenes and dialog from those originals. The games themselves are excellent 2D platformers, and fans of the X series or even the older Mega Man games should love this collection. The only major problem is that the Gamecube controller is not really made for this game type. I was able to use it with few problems, but others might want to invest in a classic-style replacement.

Mega Man X Collection

The office fell in love with Atomic Planet's great Mega Man Anniversary Collection a few years back and we've been hoping to get an X compilation to follow it up for quite some time now. Needless to say, our wish has at last been fulfilled and now that Mega Man X Collection has finally been released, our retro library feels a little more complete... though to be honest, the set isn't as...
